July 30, 200322 yr Hi I'm using the latest version of Lee H's TCAS/IVSI addon but I can see no other multiplayer traffic. Currently flying on Vatsim opposite direction traffic passed me at my level 4nm away and no returns on the gauge.I'm using SB over WideFS V6.0. I'm using TCP/IP for my multiplayer sessions and as suggested previously I'm letting Aibridge connect to the session before SB does (Aibridge on the client machine along with WideDS & SB). I'm using a registered copy of FSUIPC 3 although I had the same problem previously with V2.975.I've tried all sorts of combinations of things in an attempt to get things working with no luck!Anyone?
July 30, 200322 yr If you are never seeing any traffic, something is amiss between SB/MP/AIBridge/FSUIPC. I am pretty sure you have to run AIBridge on the same machine as FS, and it sounds like you are not.I don't use WideFS, so I don't know for sure. Mike B. certainly runs that way and ought to be able to clarify. Also, watch the ABOVE/N/BELOW setting on the transponder. In the default N, it will only show non-threat traffic withing +/- 2700'.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
July 30, 200322 yr >I am pretty sure you have to>run AIBridge on the same machine as FS, and it sounds like you>are not.No, that is not necessary. I am running AIbridge (version 1.0) on my client PC over WideFS and it works perfectly. May be you should try version 1.0 in stead of 2.0. I had some difficulties with 2.0 and switched back to 1.0.Nico (EHAM)www.nicokaan.nl
July 30, 200322 yr I agree with Nico. AIbridge runs perfectly on the client machine only. I reverted to 1.0 as well. After two weeks of connection problems with the FS Multiplayer session, I gave up on 2.0.Tom,You see other traffic out the window, right? You do not get a TCAS fail or other connection warning on the gauge do you?Personally, (this is setup using two computers with WideFS)I start the FS Multiplayer session first (TCPIP) Then open WideClient on the second PC Confirm "Connected message" on both WideClient and on top of FS screen Start SB and connect to the TCP game Start AIBridge and connect to the TCP game Connect to VATSIM Verify targets displayed on SB TCAS 40 mile range Turn Lee's TCAS to TA/RA on the pedistal Turn Lee's TCAS to 40 mile range on the pedistal Set above/below switch to above for the climb - I have TCAS normal set to 4500 feet in the display.cfg fileLook for me on line tonight (AAL327) or anytime and we can open a private voice channel to talk through what might be causing the issue you are having.
July 30, 200322 yr Mike, Nico, LeeThanks for the help. I'm flying online now, gonna try V1 of Aibridge see if that helps.@ MikeMy setup routine is almost exactly the same as yours apart from I usually start Aibridge before SB. Anyway hopefully V1 will do the trick. Thanks again guys!
July 30, 200322 yr Tom,Trus Nico, he uses the same setup as I have and it works for me! AIBridge 1 is the version to go with.Kind regards,Stephan Haashttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg
July 30, 200322 yr I had some troubles with AIBridge 2 and have long since gone back to 1.Lee Hetherington (KBED)
