I have not flown this approach, but looking at the chart I would:FMC & RADIO SetupFIX PAGE.SMO VOR068 Radial9nm Range Ring084 RadialNAV 1 RAdioILS 24R and OBS Course.Nav 2 Radio SMO VORMCP SETUP Alt 5000ft.HDG Set to 068.FLCH with Speed Intervene 180 Knots.Autopilot Off.FD On.Autothrottle On.Flying the ApproachWhen cleared down to 7000ft, deploy speedbrake and wind the speed down to Minimum Clean.Passing SMO start descent down to 5000ft and speed back to 180 Knots Flaps 5 Speed Brake Stored.SMO 068 at 9 turn base leg, FD off, speed back to 160 knots, Watch Map mode for crossing SMO 084 radial. Descend to 3500ft. Monitor VSI.Crossing SMO 084 radial turn right 45 degrees, speed back to Vref+5, flaps to 30, descending towards 2000ft.Start looking for the field, and turn inbound onto the Final Approach track.Use the ILS guidance to confirm on track and okay height wise.Continue the approach visually.If going missed, continue with Runway Heading till advised by ATC, as there is no published missed approach procedure.Even though you are now on a visual approach, you are still IFR traffic.
