Hi all,This message will be posted on both PMDG and PIC forums. Many of you have experienced missing runways or even missing airports in the last Airinc 09 cycle. Richard Stefan, the creator and publisher of Navdata has given to me the authorization to make available a modified wpNavAPT TXT file which now includes 18,709 runways worldwide instead of the 10,557 which were included in the same file of Airinc 09. Although there may be still some missing runways the new file capture even more runways than those contained in the Airinc 08 (about 2,500 more).It should be noted that this new file will not - I repeat will not - make up for deficient or inaccurate Sids and Stars files. Sids and Stars must be correctly programmed to take advantage of the wpNavAPT.txt file.If the PMDG and PIC forums moderators have an interest please let me know where and how to upload the file which is about 0.5 MB in size.I hope, if uploaded, it will minimized the number of posts reporting missing runways.Michael

If Richard reads this thread and wish to confirm he can do it. I do not want to post the message received from Richard here as it covers other issues which are not relevant here. As to upload the file on AVSIM you may have noted that Richard never uploaded anything on AVSIM for whatever reason.Michael

MikeI did`nt imply that you were lying.I simply meant that if Richard has given permission for you to distribute I would`nt think he would mind where it was uploaded to.The only reason I say this is because the PIC Flying club is having bandwidth problems the last I heard.Bill
