Hi there,I hope too they will include all three variants between which one could choose. But I think it could be a problem if you want the bird to have exact flight dynamics. They would have to programm the whole FMC for all three variants and also the EICAS are different. So I guess this won

Well for a new engine you would have to change:- the TMC (thrust management computer). Especially if your controlling parameter is EPR instead of N1.- the FMC for it's performance database aswell as the N1/EPR limit indications.- the EICAS as stated above due to different indications and limits (yellow and red band ranges)- the standby engine indications again due to different limits and EPR/N1 indications. And let's not forget two different air files. But that would be it.At least that's all that has to be done on the real aircraft ;-)Regards,Mark

In fact the original freeware releases of Ericks panel (v6.4/7?) did have multiple variants (if I remember right) and with options for EPR gauges on the EICAS, so it has been done in the past.I suppose if things have moved-on and the code is much more complex now, it may be more difficult to implement.

Even if the thrust ratings etc weren't changed from the GE engines, I'd still like to see an option for an EPR gauge to at least give the impression you're flying P&W's...
