October 4, 200322 yr I have eliminated rudder spiking in FS2004.I have the eliminate spiking boxes checked in FSUIPC, although this does not make the difference. This is what makes the difference:http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822603.Download and install this update from Microsoft for Windows XP.This should cure the spiking. I tried an engine shutdown and the pedals worked fine with very precise control.

I had them in FS2002 and fixed them with the FSUIPC spike elimination. Now in FS2004 I got the same spikes, but here the FSUIPC spike elimination didn
October 5, 200322 yr Matthias,I am not sure myself. I was originally using the rocker switch on my CH Yoke for Rudder, but just got myself a pair of CH PRO Pedals USB.I used the CH Control Manager to calibrate the pedals, and have installed the MS USB patch for windows. All I know is that having done this I no longer get any form of spiking when using the PIC panel. I have the FSUIPC eliminate Spiking boxes checked.
October 5, 200322 yr I have the CH analog style yoke and pedals since I fly PS1.3a alot of the time. I noticed that after I installed the new FSUIPC version , I started to experience spiking while flying the PIC767. I reverted back to FSUIPC 2.97 and the spiking was eliminated. I'll have to try the ...latest...FSUIPC version that was just recently released by Peter Dowson to see if my spiking is eliminated, but until then, I'm sticking with my 2.97's..Regards,jack
