Version 1.2 beta 2 is now available for download.Two bugs have been fixed:- when turning on loop during replay, without setting the loop start point before, this often resulted in FS to crash- leaving the 'Edit tower view' dialog resulted in a wrong tower position for all western and southern coordinatesThe following settings have been added to the 'Advanced view settings' dialog:- Max. tower distance: If the distance between aircraft and tower position exceeds this value, the viewpoint will follow the aircraft. This prevents some strange effects, which can occur, if the aircraft is hundreds or thousands of miles away from the tower position.- Max./min. autozoom: Limits the zoom range used in autozoom mode.Some users reported, that sometimes in an advanced view the zoom gets stuck and can't be changed using the plus/minus keys. After pressing the reset zoom key it should work again. I think it happened to myself one or two times, but I couldn't reproduce it. If you observe this problem and have any idea, under what circumstances it happens, please let me know.Regards,Matthias

Please give me some feedback how it works.Version 1.05 is also available in the file library (recorder_1-05.zip). Hi all,I thought I give you some info about the new features on which I'm currently working:- Recording of AI traffic: I recently found out, how to read and write AI aircraft data, and how to create and delete aircraft. I already managed to add a "play as traffic" feature, which plays back a recording using a separate aircraft instead of the user aircraft; so it should also be possible to record and replay AI traffic. There are still some problems to solve, but I think in a few weeks it might be working.- Advanced tower and spot plane views: this will add more view options, like free panning in tower and spot view, multiple towers, moving towers using the keybord, etc.Regards,Matthias

Unfortunately there was a bug in version 1.05 beta, which often stopped recording and cleared replay data :-( Because of a small change in the function, which checks, if the user has selected a different aircraft, it also detected an aircraft change, when FS loaded an AI aircraft. As I usually have turned off AI traffic, I didn't notice that problem. Thanks to those, who reported it.The problem should be fixed now, a second beta is available for download.Regards,Matthias

Marco,the LevelD 767 simulates independent switching of the left, right and nose landing lights and the left and right runway turnoff lights. As the standard FS lights do not support this, the 767 uses special gauges with their own light variables, which then control the standard FS lights.The current versions of the recorder module only records the standard FS lights, so some of the 767's lights are not even recorded. Also all of the 767s light switches will not be set during playback, which - at least on my system - often results in flickering lights (e.g. if the landing lights were off during recording, but you start playback with them turned on, the light switch will stay on, but the module turns the standard FS landing lights off; the 767's gauge turns them on again, as the switch is still on, etc. -> flickering). To get the 767's lights working correct, it's necessary to record it's own light variables instead of the default lights.Regards,Matthias

Marco,it seems I found a way to get the PMDG 747 flaps working. I still have to solve some small problems, but I think in the next version of the module they should work. I also noticed, that with the current version - at least on my system - the flaps of the 747 move in the outside view during playback, only the flap lever and the corresponding setting on the EICAS are not set.Regarding the 767, I already thought about adding an option to the recording dialog, so the user has to select if he's using the LDS767 before recording starts. But this would't work for the replay feature, as replay recording is always active and not started by the user. Making it a global option in the settings dialog also is not a good solution, as the user would have to change it every time he selects a different aircraft. However, if I can't find a way to detect the 767 before I release the next update, I'll maybe add the manual selection.Regards,Matthias

Hi Marco,I can have a look at the PMDG flap problem during the weekend (I own the PMDG 747). If it's possible to fix this depends on how they implemented their custom flap system. I'll let you know what I find out.Regarding the LevelD 767 lights, as this is my favourite aircraft I already have an internal version, which records & plays the 767's lights, but before I can add that to the release version I have to find a reliable way of detecting, if the current aircraft is the LDS767 or another aircraft.Regards,Matthias
