April 29, 200620 yr Hi all,I was wanting to record a flight in FS for a little idea I had.I remember awhile back there was a program used for scenery design called "dynakit" or something like that which allowed you to record a flight then save it so and AI plane would fly the same flightpath you recorded. Is there a way or program to do the same in FS2004. I know I could make a standard flightplan with TTools and have a plane fly it but I wasn't after a normal flight more like an airshow routine etc.Any ideas how I can do this? If not then I guess multiplayer is the only way to go.
April 29, 200620 yr Moderator While not precisely what you're asking, the new Recorder Module (freeware) can record an entire flight, and you may then save that recording, and play it back using any aircraft you might have available.http://www.neusinger.net/recorder/ Fr. April 29, 200620 yr What you describe sounds like a method used for dynamic scenery in FS2000. E.g. the old FSTraffic by LAGO used that system. AI doesn't work that way. I don't know how you would do that with AI. Somebody has made some AI packages where military aircraft do formation flights and other kinds of manoeuvers. I'd search for that. That method might produce the results you seek.http://www.commerciallevel.com/base/suppor...46supporter.jpg
April 29, 200620 yr Thanks for the replies.I think the only way I'll get to do what I want is in a multiplayer session. My son of 8 is a reasonable pilot it turns out. He pulled off his first solo MSFS flight tonight as practise to help me bless him.

April 30, 200620 yr Commercial Member WoW, Matthias, if I understand you correctly you are saying I will be able to record a flight and then assign it a particular AI aircraft or it creates an AI flightplan from. In either case, I could see some nice uses for that feature. Looking forward to it. :) Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) During playback you will be able to fly.Regards,Matthias
