At the weekend, I helped to take part in a RW Charity Flight.http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/lo/news/5021757.htmlAll of the companies associated with this flight waived the normal fees that they would charge to the airline. The crew who operated the flight were all volunteers. As well as the normal crew compliment, 3 of the airline's office staff, 3 staff of the airport operator and 3 staff from the handling agent (including me) tagged along for the flight. Saturday was a pretty clear day in Scotland, so good views could be had of Loch Lomond, Ben Nevis and the mountain ranges.A la NASA, the crew did a countdown as they spooled up the engines and released the brakes bang on 1.The 757 we were on is one of the newest off the Boeing Line - GOOBC, complete with the new style MCP with Blue LCD's replacing the dial displays, and the ISFD - Integrated Standby Flight Display. The rate of climb of a very low weight 757 is extremely impressive.

Dean,how's it going.I am quite busy this week - off tommorrow and Wednesday - got to watch Celtic on Wednesday, and then backshift the rest of the week. Sunday night about 2100z or next Tue are the days I think might be a go.I have just finished installing the new FSGenesis Mesh for Europe. This is definitely worth the $9.99.I have also been busy testing AS2004. So far this looks like it is going to be another must have add on for FS.
