January 28, 200422 yr Ah, yes. Finnair B757, something very nice. And FYI, it just doesn't look cold, it WAS cold. I had freeze my #### off for that photo, but it was worth it :)-Olli Vainio
January 30, 200422 yr Very nice! You guys up there do lots of CATIII APP don't you? I just wish the wx was like that for 1 day here at Miami.Bruno Francescoli.
January 30, 200422 yr >Very nice!>>You guys up there do lots of CATIII APP don't you? I just wish>the wx was like that for 1 day here at Miami. There is no CATIII equipment here(yet). But actually, visibility was quite good, and clouds were OVC050 or something like that...CATII approaches have to be done about 5-10 days a year due to fog.
January 30, 200422 yr >I just wish the wx was like that for 1 day here at Miami. No you don't...believe me. :-)
January 31, 200422 yr Nice Bird....Once heard someone say that it was a "sexy" aircraft because it has long legs and big jugs...kinda a fitting I guess :-) Quick question for Tero or anyone esle who uses his great 757 fde and transformed lighting for the AFDS : is there any way to make it compatible with Aerosoft Australia's MCP as it does not accept any inputs from the mcp to the AFDS. The contrary however works (ie :afds to mcp).Cheers and have a nice week-end.
February 2, 200422 yr Olli,In another thread someone mentioned making your picture is wallpaper on his PC. Why didn't I think of this before? Installed it today on one of my home computers and on my computer at work. The picture captures the atmosphere very well. I have been a few times at Helsinki, Rovaniemi and Ivalo and this picture is how I remember them.Kiitos!Kind regards,Stephan Haaswww.lemont.nl/b767flightdeckhttp://www.pic767flyingclub.com/images/sas544.jpg
February 2, 200422 yr Author Stephan,I actually cropped that picture to 1280x960 and send it to this photo shop, and got my 24x27cm (or something) photo in mail today. Now it's framed and on the wall, looking over my virtual flying bookshelf :).And I have it as the background image as well :)Tero PPL(A)
