Bruno,see the 057 Radial from the GOW. This is the Inbound Radial for the VOR app to RWY 23. The ILS freq would be tuned, but also the VOR APP would be dialled in to the Nav Radios to allow for a VOR APP to be flown if the ILS failed. There is a line of hills that lie on the extended centreline for runway 23. At 10 DME you would be at 3000ft. HDG approx 320. You would then be turned onto an 8 mile final, with descent down to 2200ft. If they need to bring you in over the Hills onto the ILS, then you would be kept at 3500ft till 12nm, then descended to 3000ft, before either being cleared ILS or down to 2200ft.
