February 29, 200422 yr I am looking for about 15-20 experienced virtual or real world pilots with 767 PIC to participate in an airline simulation. The simulation will model a real world airline in it's entirety and last for two 1-week periods(14 days total). Each pilot will be issued a bid package containing the schedules for the weeks, which will meet all FAR requirments for duty time. The trips will typically be one leg out, a 24 hr layover and then return, for two or three days out of the week. The pilot's will be required to fly real time with as close to real conditions as possible, with online flying perferred. All flights will operate from Phoenix, AZ to the Central & South American region. At PHX there are two distinct departure banks; one around 10AM and the second around 10PM, so keep this in mind as to which would suit you better. Pilots will be assigned a seniority number on a first come first serve basis. Applications will open at a designated time to give everyone equal opportunity. The application will also contain a short quiz about airline operation topics. They will be reviewed and pilots selected based on their simulation platform (e.g. what version of FS, computer specs, etc.) and experience level. With this seniority system the bids will be awarded. Each flight will be dispatched to FAR 119 & 121 standards with a complete briefing approximating the real thing with varied loads on the flights for each day. There will also be a short 3-day training program to make sure everyone is on the same page as far as operations are concerned. At the end there will be a checkride and a written and oral exam. Company material as far as manuals are concerned will be kept to a minimum unfortunately due to copyright concerns. If you are interested or have any questions, please send an email to [email protected] Thanks!

February 29, 200422 yr Trust me, I hear that. A much better time to be running this would be during the summer, but time is a factor. If your interested, I have 6 single pairings (trips) that are open time right now. 5 of them are a single leg on a Sunday.
February 29, 200422 yr Applications are now being received. Seniority numbers will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Thank you for interest.
