Taxi light problem

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, I am having a bit of trouble installing the taxi light switch into the PIC panel. I have done exactly as the readme says (with the exception of replacing the panel.cfg) and the switch itself will still not show up. I have replaced the B767Wupper.bmp within the Wilco panel folder so that the proper upper panel will show up, with the place for the switch. However, after placing the contents of the 767.cab zip into the gauges folder the switch will still not show up. In addition, I have tried placing it into a separate folder called '767PIC' under gauges. All to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem installing the switch? btw here is the window00 from my panel.cfg[Window00]file=B767Wupper.bmpsize_mm=1280, 410position=0visible=1ident=0gauge00=B767Woh, 816, 0, 441gauge01=767T!767T, 1155, 18, 20, 20Thanks so much for your help, Erik

>gauge01=767T!767T, 1155, 18, 20, 20Hi Erik,If the switch does not appear then there's something wrong with the statement above. Do you have the directoryGAUGES767Twith the files 767T.xml, swon.bmp and swoff.bmp? If not then change the gauge01 definition to the directory where these files do reside.(767T!767T means subdirectory 767T of the gauges directory)Hope this will help you.Regards,Nicowww.nicokaan.nlfc.php?vatsim=814584&indicator=OD1&a=pic767.jpg

Don't extract the .cab file; just drop it intact into the guages directoryGeoff

Nico and Geoff, Thanks so much for you help. I did get the switch to show up finally when I renamed the folder in gauges '767T'. I made the mistake of trying to unzip the files separately because winzip would not allow me to unzip the .cab file. Didn't really think of moving the zip file itself. Thanks again for the help, Erik
