September 18, 200421 yr Hi all,I have a brand new PC and of course installed FS 2002 and PIC 767 (patch to v 1.3). Windows XP Home.I have a CH USB Pro pedals joystick and a CH USB Yoke Pro.My problem is that the rudder is to the far right and there is nothing I can do to stop it. It happens on the ground and in flight. On the ground, I can somewhat counteract with my pedals. The reason I know this is because the effect is noticable (on the ground, the aircraft only turns in circles; and in the air, the ailerons have to counteract the effect), plus the panel indicates it and the model (original PIC 767, not POSKY) has its rudder fully deflected too.I have tried disconnecting my joystick, but that doesn't help. I have also ensured that my keyboard keys aren't stuck somehow. Rudder trim is 0.I don't have FSUIPC installed. (not sure why, just haven't had a need for it I guess) I have not noticed the same effect flying the Cessna earlier with the same config.Any ideas?Thank you.Sven.
September 18, 200421 yr Update: the problem disappears when I disengage the Yaw Damper (the left on in the panel).Disengaging the right one doesn't seem to make difference.Maybe I should just get the POSKY and do the merge process? (where's that site again?)Thanks.
September 18, 200421 yr Commercial Member Leave the R YAW DAMPER off - that is the setting for uncoordinated flight. Also, FSUIPC 2.975 is available at different sites for free, and allows tweaking of joystick settings.Daryl ShuttleworthDS 3339 The SUPPORT FORUM for Level-D Simulations products: http://www.leveldsim.com/forums

The R YAW DAMPER doesn't seem to make a difference either way... The L YAW DAMPER is the one that causes it when it's turned ON.Anyway, I am gathering all the stuff to use the POSKY a/c, and I'll get FSUIPC too (although, I really don't think it's spikes, because the rudder stays to the far right, it's not jumpy...)Thanks again,Sven.
