What was the 2002 patch for?

Featured Replies

Because when I downloaded the PIC 767 from Wilco's website, a 2002 patch was installed on my desktop which I used. The sim worked fine. I had a choice of liverys which I had selected. But I was told I still needed to install the patch from the Wilco site which I did. Absolutey no change to the sim but the only livery I have now is that ugly yellow Wilco livery. The rest are gone!So what was the point when it was working fine?

Kinda assuming SOMEONE must know. I want my QANTAS livery back!

Why uninstall and install PIC again?

If you downloaded the latest version from the Wilco site, you don't need the patch - it's in there.

I didnt delete anything. Just when I downloaded the 767 add-on, a 2002 patch come up on the desktop which I installed as well. Naturally. But I sent an email wondering if I still needed to install the patch from the actual website and I was told yes which I did and now I've lost all my livery's except the kacky yellow Wilco paint scheme.Doesnt make any sence really.

>>and now I've lost all my livery's except the kacky yellow>Wilco paint scheme.I know it's not the anwere you were looking for, bur it's honest: Just do like the rest of us - use POSKY or IFDG 767s for your visual moidel. I don't think anyone uses the default aircraft anyway. :)
