Panel Initialization Failure...

Featured Replies

Last week I pulled the PIC out of the hanger and dusted her off so that I could prepare for the LDS release and say goodbye to a good friend.Flew about a half dozen enjoyable flights. Then last night - out of the blue I load up the PIC and get this error:"Panel Initialization Failure.. Please reinstall 767PIC"I'm really not that interested in reinstalling since the amount of tweaking I've done over the years could never be reproduced.Any ideas as to what the problem might be? Perhaps I only need to fix a gauge file that has somehow become corrupted. Are there any error logs I can review for clues? Thanks.

I've toasted that version of PIC and done a full reinstall including the 2002 patch.Same problem when I try to load it.sigh...

hmmm...thinking...Be sure that you are not trying to start PIC from a saved flight. Start FS with a default aircraft, then select the PIC767.When you installed PIC767 in FS2002, you remembered NOT to apply the MS FS2000 patch?Using a POSKY aircraft model? Used Lee's merge application? Check that the POSKY folder panel.cfg is pointing to the right location. If you like, I can send you a zip of my non-MIP mapped POSKY ACA767 model and the panel folder, a 'good' sitatuation file, etc...lemme know.Rob.
