January 24, 200521 yr this might be a little to early since the 767 is not even in the market yet, and since i heard or probably read that Level D Simulation's next product might be the 757. My question is will making the 757 will take a matter of changing numbers to make up for for the difference in performance between aircrafts or will it be a whole system on it's own. i love to fly 767 but this aircraft is barely used for small or midhaul trips since i fly for a VA and i uasually fly those kind of trips.Thank You.Best Regards Adib Afraj Best Regards Adib Afraj
January 24, 200521 yr Sounds logical to me, I couldn't think of a better pit for a 757 than what Level-D is designing for the 767! All that would be required is another 757 model with FMC calculation differences.I'm all for it - Level D could really maximize their profits ensuring long-term viability to continue offering we flight sim entusiasts the level of quality and detail that only they can!
January 24, 200521 yr Commercial Member The differences are much bigger than you think. The 757 feels quite different to hand fly. The cockpit is MUCH noisier. It's flare behaviour is quite different. There are many subtle and not-so-subtle differences in systems.Wade

January 24, 200521 yr ...Don't let those differences stop the 757 version.A few teaks to the hydraulic system, a couple changes to pneumatics, system change to the FMC, up-gun the handling, change the noise, modify the electrical system, opening windows, put the 767 on a diet, more galley's, different coffee makers...It's like a Flight Sim's version of "Extreme Makeover" meets "This Old House".Tim__757
January 24, 200521 yr There is a nice webpage concerning the differences between the 752 and 763 on this website:http://www.757.org.uk/diff/It's more like a pilot point of view description. I think it's intresting however.regards,Roel Wessels
January 25, 200521 yr No doubt that it would not be easy, but it would be a logical choice since the majority of the work would already be done and the amount of 757 liveries available would almost ensure for a highly successful addition to the Level-D 767.
January 25, 200521 yr British Airways operate the B763 on short, medium and long-haul routes. Maybe you should consider joining our VA?
