Dear All,Yesterday I had great fun with LD767 flying transcon from KJFK to KSEA featured in Tony Vallillo's article:http://www.flightsim.com/cgi/kds?$=main/feature/transcn1.htmThe routing was JFK-GAYEL-J95 BUF-DLH-MOT-GGW-MLP-GLASR6 SEA. FS Navigator had no SIDs for JFK, so I went to VatUSA website for charts. I studied them for a while, trying to find out how could I go to GAYEL from RW04L. Tony was taking off from 31L with subsequent Canarsie climb. However, I could not figure out which SID would be appropriate for 04L. Then I decided to go direct to DPK after takeoff (to avoid LGA on the left), and turn left direct to GAYEL! Could somebody advise how it should be flown properly?I also have a second question about LD procedures. I supposedly downloaded procedures for JFK from www.navdata.at as "airport file" (*.apt). How do I include this file into xml database? I know that it should be described in some FAQ or sticky post - problem is, I have very little time for simming and virtually no time for browsing forums...Transcon was a blast! I took 74000 lbs of fuel, showing 14000 lbs remaining in KSEA. However, with constant strong headwind landing fuel was quickly and dramatically decreasing! On approach to KSEA I had to change landing runway from 34L (my initial guess) to 16R and land quickly without circling, because I was on fumes! To compound the problem, there was Dash8 on short final to 16R. So I decided to fly 767 manually to 16L, essentially making paralel landing with a Dash! My TCAS was screaming like ####, and I could wave my hand and say hello to Dash captain flying "in formation" on my right! :-) Landing was nice and smooth, however, and I taxied to the gate with "Fuel Low" EICAS warning and 3000 Lbs remaining total fuel... :-)Regards,Vilius
