getting an error opening ICAO.DAT

Featured Replies

Having trouble online. Everything hooks up ok, but I do not see any planes. I am getting an error opening ICAO.DAT when logging on, could this be it. What does it do and how can I fix it. Does this file have anything to do with RWRon

First make sure you have the ICAO.dat file in your main SB folder. If it is there it may have become corrupt so you will need to reinstall SB to the same location.ICAO.dat has nothing to do with RW.HTH

Solving problem 101....errrr-try every ICAO.CSV file I have(4 of them)-try re installing SB-Try re installing CSL and CVA files-try re installing SB on another drive-re install SB on previous drive after cleaning windows registry.-delete CSL and CVA files again-retry every IACO.CSV file in he books.-Read other CVA post...Join not host.....DOHHHHHH.ready to give up...This is getting worst then getting "Fly" to work.-Delete shortcut and make new one............................................thinking shortcuts..............................what is it about shortcuts and SB................................DOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH.-start SB directly from SB.exe, not from shortcut.Senility gets you every time. I knew that. What did I not remember. (Don't answer that).
