RW PTT button

Featured Replies

Hi,I'd like to assign a joystick button to the PTT function, but I cam't. Have a CH Flightsim Yoke USB.Thanks

Install FSUIPC and read how to do it in the documents provided, it is possible but because I don't use the CH Yoke I can't tell you how to, but the docs can.

OK thanks.

If you go to the CH website and download the latest CH Control Manager you can program a button for PTT.And of course the latest FSUIPC as someone mentioned is SIMPLE to program as well.Ian Elchitz CYWG

Here you go. It's easy. Make sure you have the latest FSUIPC version.Have your CH Yoke plugged in, delete any button assignment you currently have for this button, go to 'Buttons' in the FSUIPS interface, press the button you want, so it activates. Then, in the right-hand-side column click on drop-down menu under 'control sent when button pressed' and scroll down to 'Roger Wilco transmit on'. Checkmark 'control repeat when held' and go to another drop-down menu under 'control sent when button released'. Scroll down to 'Roger Wilco transmit off' and click OK to save changes. You are set. Just make sure you do this everytime you change your FSUIPC version. It tends to loose this setting. And the word of caution in my humble opinion. Stay away from CH Manager. It gave me headache and screwed my controllers. Do at your own risk. Regards and happy Vatsimming!

Thanks, figured it out.

Ah thanks also! I always knew to could get it to work using CH Control Manager, but with the non USB Yoke I was out of luck... Worked perfect with FSUIPC :) Now if only I knew about this two years ago!Jason

It would not helped to have this knowledge two years ago, as this option within FSUIPC has just been implemented in recent version. Good it worked for you.Don
