Strobe Light Effect Needed: Please Help!

Hey everyone.I posted this in the FS aircraft and panel design forum, but after 2 days, havn't gotten a response. My question is: Could someone make up a strobe effect for Cessna models that have a really unique strobe sequence. They come standard on all the new Cessnas that come out of the factory. They flash 4 times very quickly, all within about .5 seconds. The default FS has one flash instead of 4, and I would really like to see something more realistic on the C206 I'm making. Please someone give me a hand. Thanks alot!

Jeff,I am not a designer but have downloaded the effects SDK and I *think* looking at the SDK, the default strobe.fx file, and some experimentation you could work something out.There is a 'lifetime' parameter measured in seconds and takes the form of x.xx, now I would guess this means you can set a lifetime as low as 1/100 second, but I may be wrong with this guess ;-)The file I looked at was fx_strobe.fx and it *appears* to have a lifetime of 0.01 which should be 1/100 second.Hope this helps and sorry if you knew all this already.
