I haven't flightsimmed for a while, let alone on Vatsim. Now today i planned to take a flight, and I get on Flight sim, get to the gate, than i task switch over to the internet and try to file a flight plan, everything on the flight plan is perfect, when I hit file flightplan it says: An error occurred while processing your request. The server said:error filing flight plan I dont know if im doing something wrong, but I don't think so? The way i get it is you file the flight plan, then you connect to multiplayer game, squawkbox, etc. I appreciate all the help, thank you in advance. Pedro KEWR

How are you filing your plan? Are you using the preflight method from the vatsim.net page or directly going to http://www.vatsim.net/fpIf so, be sure to fill in the blocks as instucted including name/VATSIM ID/password exactly as you do when connecting in SB.If you are filing in SB before you connect, be sure you are "resend"ing the flight plan after you connect.

Thank you for the reply Mike. Well the way im filing the flight plan is through the preflight method on the vatsim.net page. I fill in every block completely correct, everything filled. I guess im gonna have to do it like the old times, and just file it through SB. Again thank you Mike. Pedro KEWR

Hello Pedro,perhaps you might want to check out the SAG flightplan Center at http://fpc.vacc-sag.org. Although the flight routes contained in it are only ment for flight from or to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the possibility to predefine aircraft and to store personal routes may help you. The FPC is able to compose these predefinitions for a complete flightplan which can then be filed directly to the VATSIM flightplan prefile page on the web.
