Hey All,Please do not bash me. I am still an FS Newbie, especially when it comes to VOR navigation, SIDS and STARS and flying on VATSIM. I want to get connected to VATSIM and fly online after almost a year. Would anyone please give me some constructive guidance on how to do this as I have all but completely forgotten. I have went to www.vatsim.net and cannot find the download for the latest squawkbox. I think it is Squawkbox2..Any friendly help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks,LarryFort Worth, Texas

This forum was created specifically for people like you and questions exactly like yours.There is a link on the VATSIM.NET website on the left menu under PILOT RESOURCES titled "PILOT RESOURCE CENTER". This website should answer all of your questions about vatsim, how to join, where to get software, how to install and configure it, pilot ettiquette, and even links to sites explaining how to navigate.Check it out from the vatsim.net website or directly at http://vatsim.net/prc Once you have gone through the material on that site (dozens of people contributed to it from all corners of the earth) feel free to ask any questions you still have.Hope that helps.
