January 19, 200422 yr Have you visited the Pilot Resource Center (left menu bar at www.vatsim.net) and followed the tutorials there for getting FS2002 connected? The error you have can have only a couple of organic reasons, and 99% of them can be worked through following the tutorials. If you've done that and still have the error, report back here and we'll take another stab at helping get to the bottom of it for you.Kyle

Are you connected to the Internet via a broadband connection using a router?
January 24, 200422 yr You get this error 99.5% of the time, when your trying to connect to a sever that is no longer on-line for Vatsim use. If you are using the server list that comes with SB, I think only one of those are still on-line.Use the Vatsim home page or Servinfo to find an IP for a server that is on-line.You can update your server list by.1. Start Servinfo, load Vatsim data2. Look for the button that looks like a 3.5" disk with the letters IP on it. Just below the Vatsim button next to the red stop sign.3. Click that button, it will ask you were you want to save the file. Save it in your SB folder, and overwrite the one that is there now.Your done, next time you start SB you will have a current server list.
