I have been flying VATSIM for about a month. I find using the text mode to be a hassle; however, I am not sure what inexpensive microphone I should purchase. Anyone have a recommendation? MJK at RDU

This topic has been covered in the past, if not here then in the newsgroups.EDIT: Don't just buy a mic, get a headset with boom mic, that way the mic will stay in the correct position, relative to your mouth, each time you put the headset on so there should be no need to keep adjusting it.From my point of view you don't need anything expensive as long as the mic is noise cancelling.I started off using a headset that came free with Dragon Dictate so that would not have been expensive.I currently use a Sennheiser 'm@b 30' purchased from Maplin Electronics in the UK.
