I'm trying to use VATSIM and i'm totally lost. I have SB installed and it runs, but I have no idea what i'm supposed to do with it. What I would really like is a walkthrough on how to do this. I've found plenty of tutorials on how to start SB, but I can't figure out how to connect to the network. I'm running on FS2k2 and would appreciate some help.

I've looked through that but i'm still lost. Am I supposed to host my own multiplayer session or do I connect to a server? There's something i'm just missing completely. I really really need to know how to connect to the network, I can't find out how to do that at all. I think I could solve all my problems if I knew how to do that.

Perhaps it would help to also explain how far I get and where I get lost. I start up fs2k2, create and host a multiplayer session. Start a flight and get myself on the field, then I minimize and start the SB host program, then the SB main program and find my game and join it. From here i'm lost.

Read the Vatsim doc 103c www.vatsim.net/prc that will give you everything you need to know about getting FS2002 on the network. From there read the guides they will tell you how to file a flight plan and what to do on-line.
