December 15, 200421 yr When I start a multiplayer session in FSNav I can see myself but no other aircraft. To add to this I can't see the other aircraft on the ground.I know this has been brought up before but non of the answers seem to help. Am I mising something? Regards Keith B. December 16, 200421 yr Are you absolute certain that you're within range of other aircraft? You will only see the aircraft within a specific range. You say you can't see them in FSNAV. Can you see aircraft from FS9? Consider going to the gate of an airport with traffic and let us know what you get there from both FS9 and FSNav. -- L. James------------------L. D. December 20, 200421 yr Author Long time in getting back to this topic as I am finding it very difficult to get an FS9 multiplayer session started. Anyway yesterday I got a session going and went an airport with trafic. Not only did they not appear in FSNav I could not see them either. However the SB TCAS gave me a traffic alert for at least one other a/c. I have seen other a/c in the past but as to what's wrong now I still have no idea. Regards Keith B. December 20, 200421 yr I think you are just forgetting to start your AIBridge. Try that out and you should see the aircraft. ________________________________________________________________________________ Jeremy 9800X3D OC'd -30 +200MHZ | 64GB CL30 RAM | RTX 5080 | Windows 11 23H2| Bravo Throttle | Alpha Yoke | CH Pedals | Logitech Radio Panel | SmoothTrack | AAO
December 20, 200421 yr AIBridge is just for add on TCAS, etc. and not SB or FSNAV though, right???Jason Harris
December 22, 200421 yr Author Had a second attempt at London HR. Lots of traffic nothing visible in FS9 or FSNav.But I know I have seen them in the past -HELP. Regards Keith B. Life is a short dash between two dates on a Tombstone
December 24, 200421 yr Author Last night I actually saw the a/c in both FS and FSNav. I found that the FS9.cfg file had the [noframecall} (or something like that) elements repeated in other parts of the .cfg file. Regards Keith B. Life is a short dash between two dates on a Tombstone
December 27, 200421 yr Author Thought I had found the problem but no luck. I have gone thru a reinstall of SB and checked the installation of everything else and .cfg file settings and the CSL library is there. But still no sign of an a/c in FS9 or FSNav.I can see a/c on Servinfo and in the SB TCAS. IN FSNav I can see myself but no one else. I am running XP with a Dial-up modem connection to the internet. Is there anything else I need to do. Regards Keith B. Life is a short dash between two dates on a Tombstone
January 3, 200521 yr It might not be obvious but in FSNAV you must also connect for multiplayer action and it must be activated by the right menu icon for seeing multiplayer planes, just as in FS9 and SB itself. Also the CLS database excel file must be in the same folder as your flight plan to properly see planes in SQ. I have multiple FP folders and each requires a copy of the same CSL_ICAO.xls file.Hope this helps, and Happy New Year 2005.TAM Regards, Tomas Muñoz
January 4, 200521 yr Author Thanks for the help. For some reason everything has started to work. I connect to the Avsim network, use voice and now I can see all the other a/c in FS9 and FSNav.I am though interested in the CSL_ICAO.xls file you mentioned. A) I don't have it, so where can I get it and :( you say it must be the same folder as your flight plan, which flight plan? Sorry if I appear a bit thick but I am only just getting started on Avsim.
