VATSIM, FSINN AND AVC

I tried my first flight with fsinn today, and used avc for audio. But, avc would not switch automatically to a new controller, even when I dialed in the fqy on my inflight radio. Is there something that I am missing. I do have avc set up as my default audio generator for FSINN. Other than that, all went well. In fact, and I hate to say this considering all the work that has gone into SB3, FSINN seems to be the better program, imo. For one thing, FSNav can export to it, something which it has taken a new 3rd party conversion program to achieve with SB3. Anyway, thanks for any help on this.... I'm going to post this message on avsim and fltsim...and wherever I get my answer, thanks....Sherm
