In trying to set up my headset microphone, I keep getting a message"there were problems setting up....." something to do with low levels / high background noise, and I get no audio in the recorded sample play back. This despite the fact that in the TeamSpeak software, the sound tests just fine. It's a high quality gaming headset, Plantronics GameCom Pro 1, so I don't think it's a quality issue. I have checked the mic levels in Windows Sound Recorder, etc...it's all working. But I have yet to try to contact a controller to do a 'radio check.' Perhaps I should try that? Hi Alex,which program are you using? SB3, FSInn, ASRC, VRC?The voice set-up software seems to be very sensitive to background noise. I usually flick the mute switch to "on" on the microphone when I'm doing the background noise test, so that it doesn't pick up noises such as the computer fan.
