Ray,In the meantime, you might want to switch to a different browser. I'm using Mozilla which allows you to disable popups, windows that resize themselves or pop under other windows, etc. That combined with Junkbuster, Privoxy, or Proxomitron makes surfing a lot more enjoyable (and pages load faster without all the ad graphics).Peter http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/PeterR.gifBFU Forums Moderator

http://bfu.avsim.net/sigpics/logo75t.gifBush Flying Unlimited"At home in the wild"Looking for adventure? Hey Guys, The popups are actually due to the ezBoard service being free. If I convert the site to a "gold" site, there will be no more popups. However, this costs like $10/month. Not too bad, but I'm paying quite a bit to host my other web sites and domains. What I may do is open a "community chest". These allow browsers to donate small amounts which pay for the service to be add-less. Before I do that, I will upload more items. We're sitting on a few gems including some Citation stuff and some Korry switches/indicators :-)Best regards,Robert Pratherhttp://www.SimSpares.cjb.net

Hi Robert,Can you not host at AVSIM as a partner site? Surely less hassle.Chris

The problem isn't the physical web host. All the popups are being generated by the forum system itself. You are right though... if all the forums could be moved to AVSIM, it could work fine. But there are too many forums sections there to bother AVSIM. Once I start uploading new stuff, I will look into the community chest method and see how that works out. It would only take a few dollars a month to elliminate the ads, but first we need more content :-) Things are hectic here now, but hopefully by next week Sim Spares will be resurrected.Best regards,Robert PratherSim Spareshttp://www.SimSpares.cjb.nethttp://www.777Project.cjb.net
