September 12, 200322 yr Hi,i was looking the manual but i was not able to find this information in detail. I have read that FsBUS-Key can emulate keyboard commnads & mouse clicks in PC.But i don't know how to do this. And about mouse clicks? What Fsbus Client & Finder are doing?1. Does anyone had done this? How it works? I have a pushbutton connected with Fsbuskey. What type have have i to declare it? And then?2. It works only with specif programs (ie PM CDU?) or with any other program? Must the program be in active-window or can it be in taskbar minimized?3. It sends also kayboard commnads in other networked PCs? (ie to change in PC No3 the Eicas display?)Thanks Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
September 13, 200322 yr Hi Eddi,I've tested the keyboard emulator of FSBUS Version 2 Beta, but only on local machine, not on PC clients.1
September 14, 200322 yr HiI just tried it out today and it works for me.For example:K+VK_SHIFT;K+P;K-P;K-VK_SHIFTwhich means :K always for keyboardVK_Shift: shift buttonP: P buttonIn the same time i have a question: What about those overhead panels' buttons which doesn't have any key commands. I cannot define in fs, not even in fsuipc. Is there any possibility to controll them with key card?Ps: On the main panel this is not so big problem because I can define the mouse coordinates for it.
September 14, 200322 yr >Hi>>>I just tried it out today and it works for me.>For example:>>K+VK_SHIFT;K+P;K-P;K-VK_SHIFTAlso a bit of delay between the keystroke and release can be good - one can define a delay with "d" - "d50" is a delay of 50 milliseconds which usually is good - it might be needed sometimes to make the FS catch all the keystrokes - especially on rotary knobs which generate strokes very fast.>In the same time i have a question: What about those overhead>panels' buttons which doesn't have any key commands. I cannot>define in fs, not even in fsuipc.>Is there any possibility to controll them with key card?I guess this is PIC767 :)I think the only possibility is to have a few monitors on your computer that display the overhead as well - then it is possible to define strokes. I dont know if it is possible (probably not) to have keystrokes appear on a window that is not visible.Tuomas

September 19, 200322 yr Hi Eddie:The CID in the fsbus.fb2 file is the third number after ObjectName. In the next example, CID is number 3: ObjetName,1,16,3,0,0,0,0,..... For local machine, we need to change number 3 for number 0: ObjetName,1,16,0,0,0,0,0,.....Good luck.Oscar LilloBCN-Spain
