  1. Today, i noticed something that may has relation with the above problems. I was line-up and after 40% N1 i push TOGAThe Master Caution tunred on and i rejected. I saw DOORS at F/O six packs and at Overhead that FWD Left & Right Overwinds Doors was on.I saw in external, nothing was on, all doors closed.I also saw at FMC that i didn't have any Failures Automatic on, all Failures are off. Just in case, i pushed to reset all failures and also the serviceI start my flight form PMDG's Original Cold & Dark panel state. After i didn't notice any problems, i continued take off and my flight without any other problems regards Eddie
  2. I also had the same problem yesterday. I made i flight from LGKR to LGAV at FL390 (was the Optimum Level)I load FSX and PMDG's 737-800 with it's default situation as coming preset, with all on, engines running etc, ready to fly.I don't have any failures active.I also have the AES. I tryed the Alternate system, without success. Only the manual was working. After land, i was trying to reset all failures with no success, after reset, in next seconds it was active again. Regards Eddie
  3. I also had a FSX crash, during takeoff, when by mistake pressed "X" in my keyboard.......Eddie
  4. Hi,today i noticed this thread and i have to say that is unfair not having some important Greek Airports in your products. As you have the option to "read data" from Vatsim, i can't see why not include these metars to your weather s/w. Other freeware s/w, (of course simple enought, not comparared with yours as i know) they support some of these airports, giving the correct current metar. As you know Greece has almost mild clima, so almost all the airports they don't have some difficult situations, exept LGIO (IOANNINA). LGIO is established in a mountain, close to a lake and many winter days they have snow, low visibility, low clouds, fog etc, so it's the perfect destination, as it does not have ILS, just an ARC VOR approach. Please, make a second thought and give us the metars missing, at least reading the weather from Vatsim's data.ThanksEddie
  5. Helloi'm interesting about it.But i have some questions, before... 1)Why are you selling it?2)Is it compatible 100% with Cpflight's radios and panels? Is it 100% scale of the original sizes?3)As i can see, your's does not have the dzus rails like the one in Aerodeck's site, but other rail system. This one, as i can see in photos has some empty areas, without rails, why is this?4) Can you give me the total cost with shipping to Greece? Please can pm me at my email address (oal331 [at] gmail [dot] com)Best regardsEddie Armaos
  6. Very very nice setup!!!You have everything you want to fly close to you in an ergonomical home cockpit.Very nice job, very nice prototype idea for all in one cockpit!!Enjoy it!!Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  7. I don't know about outside view, but for the PFD/ND instrumkents a 19" wide monitor is the best solution to give you the right size for these displays (at least in my 737NG cockpit). For the Eicas i have a 15" normal TFT monitor. If you are talking about 737 visit Engravity's site and check forums about MIP and best monitors.RegardsEddie ArmaosAthens - Greece
  8. If you don't speak and read german language, do not select Fsbus, because there is no support in English speaking forums :-(Fsbus is only one person, working for his cockpit and offering his works to Fs community, but there is no support and many problems are remaining as is for a long period. His software is very friendly and easy to use.In other hand Opencockpit's s/w is more complicated but with more capabilities, a perfect support and you have all the options you want for the electronics: to make them, to buy the pcb's only, to buy all the parts needed or to buy them finished and tested. As George said, make a search in this forum and make your choice.Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  9. Yes there is haigh voltage. When i open my first PSONE tft monitor for FMC i saw a warning label about high voltage!Take care!!Eddie
  10. I made these from aluminium in a local workshop and the quality is perfect. I have many of these and it's easy to order more in case i will need more in the future.regardsEddie Armaosoal331 (@) gmail.comAthens-Greece
  11. I want to share with you, my last good news, about aircraft fasteners replica.I'm a new owner of Engravity's Overhead and it is really an excellent product, i recommend to every 737 cockpit builder.I was looking for the aircraft fasteners replica, but the ones Engravity is selling are out of my budget, for a complete 737NG cockpit, as i need many of them also for AFT overhead, pedestal etc.So i made many of these fasteners, and the result is perfect!! The fasteners are designed for a standard M4 screw and i only have to paint them in Boeing's grey color RAL7011.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/158078.jpgEddie Armaos
  12. Thank you Rob,you was very helpful !!Best regardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  13. Hello Rob,i saw your work and it's amazing!I admire people can make mechanical constructions. Before 2 years I made sone some of this panels for MCP, EFIS and RADIOS with a laser cut and engrave, but it was more expensive and a had some problems with the paint quality. So, your approach is better because you do the job by yourself and with an one-off investmenet for the dzus, but how you are thinking to do the lettering? By engrave the plexies som-how, or with sticker letters? And how about backlight? Finally your paint is very smooth in the plexi's surface, what kind of paint are you using and how you paint the plexi?best regardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  14. Hi,i will propose to use one TFT monitor 19" wide instead of 2 small 9".This approach is very-very economic as you need one TFT about 200euros and only one VGA out.See here a post i made in engravity's forum about:http://www.737cockpit.com/index2.php?optio...viewtopic&t=241i attached the ACER's specs to check themhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/157456.jpgregardsEddie
  15. In a few days i will have also available the MCP & dual EFIS panels in the same format, as the radios panels. All the needed parts are available in almost all electronic shops.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152076.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152078.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152079.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152080.jpgBest regardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  16. I made an auction in ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=140004573172 for 6 radio panels for B737NG.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152050.jpgAll the panels are from 3mm milky plexi, gray painted and engraved from laser.RegardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  17. Fsbus reads and receives data from Fsuipc standard offsets. All default Fs aircrafs are open to Fsuipc so with Fsbus you can fly them (send & receive data/information).But NOT the payware aircrafts. They are closed or hidden from Fsuipc. So you can use only Project Magenta's s/w, LevelD767 with SDK and Nico's s/w, but NOT PMDG.RegardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  18. Thanks Tuomas,no problems at the moment, so i will follow the rule: "If it works don't try to fix it"!regardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  19. What is the Hardware Sound Acceleration and where is used or not ?In a single VGA system, with one or dual outputs, i will get better fps if this sound's acceleration level is left ?thanksEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  20. I'm waiting for the release of the new Matrox Triple Head, not a VGA but an external box for sending the vga signal to 3 monitors instead the one. Also there is a Dual head version.Check here : http://www.matrox.com/graphics/offhome/gxm.cfmregardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  21. Go to C:Documents and Settings"USERNEMA"Application DataMicrosoftFS9 and find the fs9.cfglocate the section [sTARTUP] and change the SHOW_OPENING_SCREEN= from 1 to 0like this[sTARTUP]DEMO=0LOADSIM=1LOADWINDOW=1SHOW_OPENING_SCREEN=0STARTUP_DEMO=regardsEddie ArmaosAthens
  22. Ralton,If the cost of materials + job is much less in S.Africa than to buy them finished and tested, YES make them. Don't forget that they are doublesided pcb's and here in Greece they aren't cheap.Otherwise buy them from opencockpits, because and they are working 100% and you just PAY, PLUG & PLAY :-)Send us photos when your cockpit grow-up !!Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  23. In my opinion yes you can.But if you plan to use Project Magenta's s/w is better to buy PmSystems for overhead logic, than to program everything with Opencockpits.Good luck Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  24. This i a big issue!! :-)I already have Fsbus 2years now and if i have to choose today again, i'm not sure if i will re-invest in Fsbus or in Opencockpits. Each system has benefits and disavantages.Fsbus, has a better software interface and you can do almost all with only one program running. All the functionallity is there. You can assign switches, leds, reotaries etc very easy and fast and i find it very friendly. But in the current status does not offer a good tool for custom made logic and if/then/else functions!! I can't have blank the IAS and V/S displays when in Vnav & Lnav modes. Also you don't have support, as behind Fsbus is only one person (Dirk) and he offer from his free time and he posts almost in German speaking forums.Opencockpits, have a better support and more users they can help in English, they have powerful software for logic and custom made functions, but is not so easy to understand hoe to begin working with it. If you can find how to start using their software you can do more things. Also you can order the h/w ready and tested, without loose many hours and money to make pcb's and solder them.Try them before, try to check them without h/w and make your own opinion for these.regardsEddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
  25. Why ?Do you have any sych information for only 3D?I hate only 3D cockpits :-(Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece
