FSBUS2 question

Featured Replies

Hi all,Do you have to reflash the PIC's when changing from the old FSBUS to the new vs2? My old FSBUS see's the com pcb and key card ok but the new FSBUS2 doesn't. Thanks,ROb

I haven't tested that here Rob, all the flashing of the PIC's I have done has been with version 2 & I have not really used Version 1 much at all except in the early days before I built the boards.Glenn.

Hi Rob,you defintely do NOT have to reflash the PIC - the code is the same.Do you mean that your hardware still is the same and the FSBUS2 software does NOT work anymore ???Switching to FSBUS 1 works OK ? On the same hardware, same PC, same cables ???That sounds strange...Mathias

>you defintely do NOT have to reflash the PIC - the code is the>same. With 2beta2 there is exception. Led card program is slightly changed. But it does not afect how it works. Just minor change. And yes. There is no need to reflash any PIC's when upgrading software.- J

I had my PICs flashed with the first version of Beta 2 and now with the 2nd Beta 2 is ok also. With the 2nd Beta2 version, the tests are running normal, instead with the previous. Do you check them with the ver 2? Please be sure you have the latest ver2.0.2.Eddie ArmaosAthens-Greece

I tried re-booting pc and still did not help.
