One quick question, what kind of sandpaper did you use to sand in from rounded LED into square type? I was thinking of doing same using dremel or table sandsaw... would that be a good idea?

I used a table belt sander:) My first LED I used a file, holding the led and rubbing it on the file. I would think a Dremel tool would work also. I have to warn you, when you use a power tool, it doesn't take long for it to go down where you want it. Watch your fingers:)

Watch my finger! LOL... Two thumbs up! BTW keep up with your cockpit, looking forward for more of your work.

Hi Matt,Very impressive results - congratulations!Have you given any thought to a solution for lighting the buttons on the CDU? This is one of my next projects...Thanks, and all the best!

Hi Mitch,Regarding the CDU, I'm waiting for FDS to come out with the ELITE MCDU, which I'm anxiously looking forward to. Once I get, I will definitely look at the possibility of lighting it. So no thought yet.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the kind words, always encouraging and motivating. As far as my fingers:) I still have all, but they seem to be a bit shorter:) Just kidding....
