  2. Yeah, even at MSRP the 5090 is just too much, IMO. I should have got it with my new PC, but thought I could get away with the 5080. Boy, was I wrong. I'm going to get AMDs 24gb card. It runs MSFS just fine, especially for a grand.
  3. Are you in 2K for 4K? I'm Vraming out with my 5080 with sim settings medium to high in 4K, and a lot in 2K as well. This 5080 is the worst card for flight simming.
  4. Here's a link to the entire thread which has it. https://discord.com/channels/736572376967282769/1435050393896882226
  5. I did the same thing as this user did: "So here's what just worked for me. I deleted the deviceCalibration.json file as outlined in that PDF, and made sure that SimAppPro showed the correct mode for the throttle. But then every time I tried re-running the calibration steps in SimAppPro it would get all messed up again. I finally tried deleting that file one more time but then instead of doing the calibration steps in SimAppPro, I just did them in the Fenix and now everything is working as expected." Thank God it all works now.
  6. hmm... What is your TLOD at? I didn't have any popping on my last flight but I think my TLOD is set at 100 or 150.
  7. The setting that makes that go away is: Off screen terrain Pre-Caching. Set it to ultra unless you don't have the Vram to spare. If you have 16gb or higher with sim settings on medium or high, you should be fine. This will also help with stuttering during camera panning.
  8. I finally got the sim to recognize the axis, but throttle 2 gets stuck in idle reverse in the FNX. Simapp pro is fine and calibrated. I have no other control conflicts. At a total loss. This throttle should have worked out of box with zero setup and they say there is even an airbus profile, but I can't find where it is.
  9. Is there anyone that can help with setting up this throttle in 2024? No matter what I do I can't get the sim to properly recognize the correct axis. Simpapp pro is up to date. I've never seen anything this difficult. Normally pretty easy to set up a throttle.
  10. I'm aware. I see it everyday at work. 🙂 No slot tolerances in Spain. CTOTs left and right. Italy hates all GA traffic. The list goes on.
  11. A "real world route" is any route that can be legally flown based on the PBN of the aircraft and any required training by the crew that is accepted by ATC. Nothing really has changed...LOL. Now, if there are published routes somewhere that simnbrief can pull in, fine, but not always required.
  12. offscreen terrain precaching to high or ultra should fix the scenery popping. There is a bit of a VRAM tradeoff, so be aware. Has nothing to do with TLOD. The low res textures are yet to be fixed. They were supposed to in 2024 when it launched, IRRC, but they are not. **sorry please delete the dups.

  15. Not under dev settings, just under the task manager. Vram is fine though. I believe the issue is known and a lot of people are having the same issue. Vram will only start to affect the frames if you run out. This issue looks like a main thread issue.
  16. I've done the same exact thing. Like I said, I don't have an FPS problem, I have a stuttering problem that I (and many others) didn't have prior to SU3. Not sure why it only affects some people and not others. I any case it's well documented and hopefully a hotfix will come out soon,
  17. So I thought I'd load another aircraft, the PMDG 77W for comparison on the stutters. While I got a few, it WASM'd out...ROFL. The FNX is the only one that works out of the other two I have (PMDG 77W, ini 350). PMDG and ini both WASM out almost every time now. In any case SU3 is borked big time. They need to hotfix these stutters ASAP. There weren't these massive stutters on SU2. Looks like the sim is hangered (AOG) for who knows how long.
  18. I thought I saw in the release notes about camera view switching stutter fix while at large airports. I wonder if that's what regressed. Although "large" airports doesn't mean anything here. I think that was just the description on the bug list.
  19. That's a placebo...lol. I just tried that and still have stutters on or off. It's actually worse though when it's off. How in the world!
  20. Yeah, that's not the case here. Anyways after the magic PC reboot, it seems to be better. Still stuttery, just not as bad. Thinking it's the connection to the servers more than anything.
  21. Something has regressed. I used to be stutter free. Now it's just horrible. This is getting ridiculous.
  22. MK's LEMG and GSX. Will find out if it's the airport, the PG scenery, or GSX here soon. Oh yeah, and the FNX a320. Edit: I think it's the PG scenery.
  23. Anyone getting pretty bad stutters on SU3?
