January 6Jan 6 I just ran DLSS Swapper and noticed there is a new version 310.5. Nvidia also just released a new driver 591.74. Anyone tried these yet? About to start a flight with the new driver and DLSS version and will report back. January 6Jan 6 It's part of Nvidia's DLSS 4.5 they just released at CES. Two new presets (L, M) Both hit performance quite hard on 4xxx series and below compared to Preset K (DLSS 4). Preset M is meant to be used with DLSS Performance mode. Preset K: Default preset for DLAA/Balanced/Quality modes. Less expensive performance wise compared to Preset L. Preset L: Default preset for UltraPerformance mode. Delivers a sharper, more stable image with less ghosting than Preset J, K but are more expensive performance wise. Preset L is peak performant on RTX 40 series GPUs and above. Preset M: Default preset for Performance mode. Delivers similar image quality improvements as Preset L but closer in speed to Presets J, K. Preset M is peak performant on RTX 40 series GPUs and above. Edited January 6Jan 6 by Brocky120

January 6Jan 6 Does this stuff actually do anything vs default? Has anyone measured a change in fps or vram? Big difference here. I never really had much of the infamous ghosting but I have none at all now and I have seen big performance improvements with previous versions. I'm going to test this one later today. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

What video card do you have and what preset did you choose? With default I almost always run TAA because the ghosting is very evident in glass cockpit aircraft (not too bad in analog). But if I do run DLSS it's max quality or whatever that setting is. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

January 6Jan 6 I’ve tried DLSS (Quality) in VR many times, but I always experienced ghosting and blurry cockpit displays (CDU, tablet, PFD, ND). Have you noticed any improvements in this area with the new build? RTX 4080S. Edited January 6Jan 6 by AdiR Adrian

January 6Jan 6 I keep asking the same, I know I know, but I need because I am yet to be able to understand how this all really works... Now, I have a 3060 Ti, have TAA and FG active in the MSFS 2024 Graphics options. Should I update the DLSS files in MSFS 2024 using the Swapper app? January 6Jan 6 Per some users on Reddit, this updated version still shows ghosting on glass cockpits (non-VR). Eric
