Tried DLSS 4.5 at 4k on a 5090 (preset K, L and M) in all 4 quality modes and still blurry for me too. Not sure why it varies, possibly due to framerate, I cap mine at 40fps, might be better at 80+ fps...

It's part of Nvidia's DLSS 4.5 they just released at CES. Two new presets (L, M) Both hit performance quite hard on 4xxx series and below compared to Preset K (DLSS 4). Preset M is meant to be used with DLSS Performance mode. Preset K: Default preset for DLAA/Balanced/Quality modes. Less expensive performance wise compared to Preset L. Preset L: Default preset for UltraPerformance mode. Delivers a sharper, more stable image with less ghosting than Preset J, K but are more expensive performance wise. Preset L is peak performant on RTX 40 series GPUs and above. Preset M: Default preset for Performance mode. Delivers similar image quality improvements as Preset L but closer in speed to Presets J, K. Preset M is peak performant on RTX 40 series GPUs and above.

5090 and a 9800X3D Short answer is no The performance is good enough, but the streaming, bluriness of the world and cockpit etc, terrible UI which actually makes 2020’s looks good, crashes, controls etc make it so much less enjoyable and I’ve switched back to 2020 now. i thought 2024 was good, but having gone back to 2020 I do prefer it, not that 2024 is bad, I just find it quite problematic, especially with trying to fly in groups or with friends where visibility is terrible or you cant even see each other

MSFS 2020 and 2024 are the only games that really push my RAM, wasn't until I reduce them further I had fewer CTD's

You do realise this is a hotfix update, in other words they deemed this fix important enough to have its own sole update, so for those complaining that it's been XX days and all you have done is fixed one bug, thats not the case.

For those of us using DLSS and blurry glass cockpits, this looks to be fixed or rather, much much improved with DLSS 4. I guess this will divide opinions as only RTX 5xxx can get DLSS4 (EDIT: Actually not sure thats entirely true, can anyone confirm!?) Skip to 4:30 for the DF video:

I have used Win 10 LTSC for years with 2020. I feel like I have come across this but can't remmeber how I solved it. Try this: Make sure the Internet is connected. Open Powershell as admin and enter, wsreset -i Wait for a notification to appear that the store app is installed, it may take a few minutes. On Windows 10 2021 LTSC, you might encounter an error indicating that cliprenew.exe cannot be found. This error can be safely ignored.

I used FSHUD but the upgrade for older users who purchased through third party is a joke, so I moved to BATC

No problem! Sure, unless they are searching/filtering via MSFS 2024 tags like we're told to do, in which case, this is just one of a thousand plus topics over the next year that won't be seen.

Should be a separate section IMO, at least a sub section. It will probably pay the devs back in the long run to be honest with less topics created because they get buried between 2020 / 2024 posts.

Then you are GPU bottlenecked, your CPU doesn't need to work more than 40% of it potential to reach the FPS your GPU is limited by....

I can't load into a flight, tried multiple times, takes 10+ minutes like it's stuck, dev mode says bandwidth is 0.00mbps. I assume this is down to server issues...
