Some with ? I'm unsure of.....

In total random order:

  • Continued issues with streaming/hanging/missing data files.
  • All menus heavily load and heat the CPU/GPU.
  • Many controls not binding or working properly.
  • Mouse pointer or cursor not showing.
  • Difficult to target and highlighting aircraft hotspots.
  • Unable to remove co-pilot.
  • Mouse sensitivity inconsistent i.e. freelook.
  • No 100% offline mode
  • Area vegetation sometimes incorrect
  • No menu music toggle?
  • Unable to turn off/disable ATC?
  • Unable to save a setup Free Flight? Is 'recent' all we get?
  • Can't permanently default to a specific time of day?

  • 😄, posting goodbye threads and Youtube videos.  I saw this coming a mile away (a total cloud sim 🤨).  It might be March 2025 before I dive in (maybe next summer).

I am seeing a lot of AI Aircraft without wheels , floating baggage carts, jet ways at various Intl Airports.

Looks like its MSFS2020 for me until SU1 comes out

(which will be in year 2025!)

Oh well, work in progress

This may delay devs like PMDG Fenix, etc .

MSFS2024 , see you in 2025!

I see people saying we need to be patient, and patience is a virtue.  Well, if wasting my life away waiting for things to be right is a virtue, I would rather not have it.

So anyway, until then, I have a perfectly good flight sim to fall back on, and no time wasted, so no great loss (apart from a bit of money of course ).

I have seen more issues on other peoples videos and pictures as well, but I won't waste any more time logging it here.
I will say though, that some of them are just people not knowing how to do things the new way rather than proper issues.
Eventually, we will have to learn the new ways if we want to use this sim - simple as that.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

The first point is a show stopper. I do understanbd that there could be a server overload at release time when many makes the purchase at the same time. But what concerns me is what will happen later when many run the sim at the same time. Will the breadband be enough ?

And the four following points are also serious. Question is when will they be resolved ?

I should think it's a nightmare for all of them, How the hell they are supposed to try and work with 2024, when customers are seeing so many issues beggers belief.

I am so glad I waited to read reports before ditching 2020, which works perfectly.

My world map is just black, when I want to start a free flight the loading screen is just black and then the sim crashes.

Good to have 2020 still installed!

-Missing airports since MSFS2020 and still in MSFS2024, such as LTFM İstanbul Airport which is a huge airport that can not be missed.

-Awful night ligting such as huge blue runway and taxi lights.

-Terrible key bindings and settings that can not be set as MSFS 2020

-Low bandwith issues.

-Career Mode is not opening (at least at my end)

-Grass on runways.
