  1. Hi, No need to run or install FSTL Injector. Just the models are ok and BATC injects them.
  2. I am not sure if this helps you but I use spacedesk for tablet connection and Pop-Out Manager(flightsim.to free app) for the screens. (I do not know about Air Player)
  3. I am using Quest 3 with my own glasses and with no problem. It can be adjusted and and I think no need for additional lens inserts. But of course it is a personal decision.
  4. I did almost the same search and ended up with the Quest 3 which seems to be most mature one with its accessories , apps, price, addons, etc.(at the moment) Really happy with it. But needs to be searched well for the performance and best results. These are the key words for anyone interested : Virtual Desktop, OpenXR Toolkit, HTCC (Hand Control Cockpit), Ethernet Cable and Adaptor Connection (if you want a less latency connection and do not have good wifi 6E or above router connection), counter weight head strap with powerbank, Li-Ion rechargeable battteries for controllers, etc. etc. As a result, you will find a sweet point which you will never regret and go back to 2D monitor for flight. Happy Flying.
  5. Link : https://flightsim.to/addon/107796/transparent-vr-controllers A mini mod from me that is good to hide the VR Controller in the Cockpit. This is required for myself and I think can be helpful anyone that need the same. This mod makes the unneccessary virtual controllers transparent while using hand tracking and/or hand passthrough. Also it is successfull for the use of HTCC (Hand Tracked Cockpit Controls) which lets you to use your hands for the cockpit buttons and knobs. Of course not a perfect solution but we are highly expecting native Hand Controls in VR Cocpit from MS/Asobo and or the 3th party aircraft developers. A link is also below that you can vote for this immersion feature. Thanks. Link : https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/hand-controls-in-vr-cockpit/758101?u=kokokt999
  6. It happens to me as well. I found a solution for this on the net. First quit to Main Menu in VR, then make CTRL+TAB. This prevented the CTD for me. Hope this helps.
  7. Yes, votes on the forum are increasing by the time. We need more votes for getting the attraction of MS/Asobo team. Hope captains will vote more. Thanks to all. Link : https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/hand-controls-in-vr-cockpit/758101?u=kokokt999
  8. Exactly true. So, you will be voting the whislist from the link ? Thanks.
  9. It has the button on the top of the page.Thanks.
  10. Yes, we are waiting especially this feature for a long time. Please see our related post and please vote if suitable. Thanks. Link : https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/hand-controls-in-vr-cockpit/758101?u=kokokt999
  11. Thanks for your nice work. I checked and it is working well.
  12. Another option for you can be as mine. For my Quest 3, I am using ethernet and power adapter with an ethernet connection to the PC. This allows cable connection which is better and less laggy. And with some OpenXR Toolkit or better Vrperfkit (single basic file) it can be adjusted to a different FOV and higher resolution. And I am really happy with the results. Very clear cockpit textures and really good rendering, even with my old PC which has low-end hardware.(Look at my signature for the hardware) Ethernet connection is very good and no need for a special router for this. You only need a quality ethernet - power adapter (Ugreen) which is not expensive and attach this adapter to your headset with velcro straps. (Choose a very small but a quality adapter which will ad a few grams to your headset.) And your headset is always fully charged as it is connected to the power while using (limitless power) And Quest 3 is affordable has many affordable accessories and solutions already. These are the critical points for me to choose this solution. Of course it is a personal choice. If you need more info, I can try to help. Happy flying.
  13. For VR framerate, the best practice is to set the limit in accordance with your VR headset. In my example, my Quest 3 is set to 72 fps for headset to generate views and therefore MSFS2024 is set to 36 (half of 72) or if the GPU is powerful maybe to 72 to match the framerates. If you use Pimax or etc. check your fps on your headset and adjust MSFS2024 VR fps to half or same fps for a better performance. In my case, CPU is the bottleneck therefore I really do need to use GPU instead of CPU.Therefore , I know the tricks to optimise CPU. But in your case, CPU and GPU are all powerfull, so just to decsrease GPU consumption will give you the equilibrium. Good Luck
  14. Hi, Very shortly for GPU optimisation, limit your FPS in VR (and/or 2D) to your requirement (mine is limited to 36 fps, which is the half of Quest 3 frequency 72) You do not have CPU bottleneck. I have also CPU bottleneck and I use Proccess Lasso for CPU utilisation and core prioritisation (affinity).
  15. Please vote this topic if you are interested in bringing hand control in VR Cocpit where other tiny sims already have done it years ago. It will be a very good immersion upgrade for all. Thanks.
  16. Hello Captains; I do not have the above menu toolbar in VR since SU5 beta 1.7.6 Is there anyone else ? Or is there a new way to enable it ? Thanks.
  17. As can be seen in an old video of AeroFly Sim it is integrated quite well and MS/Asobo can bring this to a better level for sure.
  18. Dear Captains; As can be seen in other few flight simulators (small organisations), already since from few years ; seeing your hands in the cockpit as controllers (not the virtual controllers) and using your hands to press buttons or turn knobs, can be achieved as a feature. And will definetely increases the immersion of VR to a highest level. We would like to see MS/Asobo (such a big organisation) to implement this feature as soon as possible which users are waiting for this for few years. Additionally, we would also like to have a feature to toggle virtual controllers hide/show, to avoid unintentional interaction with cockpit while using our hands now, as hand passthrough or else. Therefore, I have started a subject on the whishlist which MS/Asobo can take into account. Thanks in advance to everyone, for taking this into account and voting this subject on the Official MSFS Forum. 19. Hi; Test version is under this link https://github.com/ResetXPDR/MSFS_AutoFPS/releases/tag/v0.4.6.5-test
  20. If you just want a very light, web based app and interested in your flight to be checked in details, Newsky is for you. https://newsky.app No companies or setup, just gets your flight plan from SimBrief and you can fly. If you are more interested in company or an airline manegement , I think you can also go in detail. But, I tried it for flight check only and it is good so far. And it is free.
  21. BATC and FSTL models for AI traffic work very well together.
  22. Thanks for your support and suggestions. I solved the problem with the help of MS but the problem is also was because of MS. I am going to explain it here again just to keep a note on the forum to help others who face similar problem. It was all about a missing aircraft in the library ; Cessna 172 Skyhawk - G1000 (should be streamed and enabled) (analog and digital versions) This is what I negotiated with MS Support : Although I am not a GA fan, I was keeping Cessna 172 Skyhawk streamed and enabled for this purpose but as you mentioned again I checked the library and noticed that MSFS2020 version was enabled and because of the conflict with the one you mentioned (MSFS2024 version) , the newer version was disabled by the system to avoid conflict. I think, this was causing the career mode inaccessibility. Thanks for your reminder. Now Career Mode is back for me. But, just to clarify more, the error masage should be informative for us to sort the problem. If the error message was correct and telling about " a missing or conflict aircraft" rather than telling "a server error" , it would be easy for us to solve the problem. I would kindly ask from MS/Asobo to improve this massage to avoid further problems for many other users which I can see struggling with the same problem on the internet forums. And thus, your workload will also dicrease. Thanks. Regards.
