Hi, it’s been a couple of weeks now with 2024. It’s outstanding on my older system and I haven’t touched 2020 except to look at key bindings.

For 2020 I have Just Flight’s traffic program.

Is there something similar for 2024? The default is ok, but I don’t see hardly any major carriers like DAL.

Not looking for precise real-world traffic, just something that keeps the sim from being a ghost town.

Are you able to get the 2024 version of the JF program you have? I know they made it compatible about 6 months ago.  Another option would be to use FSLTL, it's free and has a nice installer.

I use PSXT (payware version) which tracks real flights, has the correct aircraft at gates, etc but you still need to have base models installed (ie FSLTL, JF, AIG).

Thanks, I didn’t know they made it for 2024. I’ll probably buy that. If I remember it wasn’t too difficult to install.

I think the 2024 update is free so you should just be able to download the 2024 version.

Sayintentions is pretty good, but for an expensive subscription model and some jankiness with AI behaviour.

Oh, and don't expect to see landing gears all the time in 2024.  It's infuriating and nothing seems to be getting done about it.

Thanks. I’ve seen some comments about the gear, that’s ok for me. 

 I'd highly suggest to just try FSLTL before the JustFlight traffic option. You'll get far more models and probably close to twice as many liveries and airlines. It's MUCH better, easier to use and it's free.

I've used FSLTL, PSXT and Beyond ATC.

I find FSLTL models beautiful but they do have a performance impact (even on my system, especially into places like EGLL and KJFK). Also, random runways are used (at places like EGLL).

I had high hopes for BeyondATC. I love the immersiveness and integration with CPDLC. However too many times it asks me to "hold for crossing traffic" and just leaves me there for 10 minutes (with no crossing traffic), sends me on really random taxi routes (especially at EGLL) and doesn't use the correct runways (again, at EGLL). Also, no priority is given to the users aircraft, so you can be trying to announce on frequency, especially in Europe, for a long time (the other day I was way past Paris on my way to Athens before ATC even told me to change frequency from London to Paris center). This leads to missed altitude requests etc.

PSXT feels the most accurate. All the aircraft are in the right place, correct runways are used. The down sides are traffic randomly appearing and disappearing and the lack of ATC integration.

If Beyond ATC and PSXT could tie up...it would be a match made in heaven!

I don't think that would work, because PSXT aircraft as I understand are moved via tracked GPS/ADS-B signals, they're not AI or driven like BATC's traffic.

What are you using as a traffic injector?

Because jetways work for me with AIG's traffic injector. Injectors like BATC and SayIntentions don't use the default AI systems so jetways won't work.
