3rd party AI traffic programs?

Featured Replies

Hi, I am using AIG's traffic injector.

Edit, I am using MSFS 2024.

Sayintentions is pretty good, but for an expensive subscription model and some jankiness with AI behaviour. Oh, and don't expect to see landing gears all the time in 2024.  It's infuriating and n

I'd highly suggest to just try FSLTL before the JustFlight traffic option. You'll get far more models and probably close to twice as many liveries and airlines. It's MUCH better, easier to use and it'

I use PSXT (payware version) which tracks real flights, has the correct aircraft at gates, etc but you still need to have base models installed (ie FSLTL, JF, AIG).

Hmmm... was interested in this so checked it out and does indeed look rather good...

I went to the list of supported airfields and couldnt see 1 New Zealand airport listed? Maybe i was not looking correctly but does it cover all the world or just some certain places? The data said 920 airports covered which is great but very limited for me...

Maybe im not reading it correctly? And is subscription based too which si not a n issue...just the coverage....

The native AI traffic is actually really good, in my experience at least, after SU4. The aircraft behave well at the airports, the spacing and taxi speed is adequate, and the variety is surprising, considering that MS has to receive a positive opt-in from every carrier of which the livery is used. The drawback if the native AI traffic is that the altitude is 3.28 times too high (evident mainly in cruise) due to a silly bug (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/live-adsb-traffic-details-displayed-too-high-altitude-speed/694797)  which has received surprisingly little attention and hasn't been fixed after one year ... Is everybody using 3rd party AI traffic?

BATC + FSTL is pretty good.

PSXT and real traffic is best by my opinion

BATC + AIG for me. AIG has the most models and liveries of any of the other free options.

For me, FSHud + AIG + FSLTL all running together at the same time!

Two sectors flown, zero issues, and it was handling 70–96 traffic in the sim. Insane.

My favorite is FSHud + AIG.

Can you tell the exact settings in FSHud to have both AIG+FSLTL active. Do I need to run the FSLTL Traffic Injector?

I'm using the following settings:

Simulator traffic: Enable (It will intercept all the traffic from the sim - FSLTL in my case)
External: Enable (I'm using AIG Traffic Controller) https://www.alpha-india.net/software/
Or you can enable AIG if you don't want to use AIG Traffic Controller.
FSLTL: Running
AIG Traffic Controller: Running

And that's all!

Hello guys, I'm using FSHud with AIG TC only, here is my flight that I did just now!

50 Active on final! I'm very happy to flying with FSHud!

Just watched Sayintentions weekly chat on Youtube. Told myself to spend no money on this program.

Using AIG and BATC, all is flawed, but this is merely because of MSFS.

Just digging into external traffic.

If i understand your settings, you run FSHud to combine FSLTL (as injector) and AIG Traffic Controller as traffic control.
So the ATC you get in the FSHud window is coming from the AIG Controller.
However, it seems that if I don't use the AIG Controller i get the same messages and control in FSHud. Why then use the AIG Controller? What advantage does it have?

Another question: What traffic settings do i have to turn on/off within FS2024 because when i turn on the quantity settings, airplanes and vehicles show up and directly disappear at random.
