  1. I prefer Spotty26 as it also use the new camera system for both user aircraft and AI aircrafts.
  2. First arm the Tower View you want - Select Tower so button goes to green and click wanted Tower marker on the map Then just click Cam button to activate the Tower view and toggle Cam ON/OFF as you like.
  3. The missing sound of AI aircrafts when using Spotty26 is now fixexd in the latest MSFS SU6.
  4. Changelog v5.1 → v5.2 New FeaturesMore Flyby Settings Added additional Flyby camera presets and configuration options. World Camera Map Navigation When the World Camera is active, simply click any Airport, MSFS POI, or 3D City marker on the map to instantly move the World Camera to that location in MSFS. Use your controller to immediately explore and move the World Camera around the selected location. This makes exploring airports, landmarks, and cities much faster and more intuitive. Go to FStarter24 V5's Menu\Check for update - download and unzip to FStarter24 folder.
  5. Compared to V4 the new V5 has the new Camera modes(Flyby and World) plus updated MSFS POIs and TINs that came with WU22.
  6. I use Fstarter24 V5 that shows all scenery areas and POI in WU22. Just a click and you can fly over any of them. It can be easier.
  7. Just wondering, are you using Spotty26 v1.5.1? Why click Tower every time you go back to Cam, no need to do that. Once in Tower mode it stays in Tower mode when Cam is ON. If you are using FlybyO it will override any other camera mode after some seconds.
  8. Did you click Spotties that enables saved camera markers to be seen on the map?
  9. You didn't mention that you had actually saved it. If it was saved, as you now say, it should appear as a Tower/Spotter camera marker on the map. Also remember (as described in the documentation) that the Tower/Spotter camera mode must be active (green) before you can click and load a saved Tower/Spotter camera marker. The same applies to World camera markers. You can also verify that the camera was saved by checking the camera.txt file in your Spotty26 installation directory. If the entry is present there, the camera has been saved correctly.
  10. You need to save the Tower/Spotter location. Then on next session when Tower/Spotter camera is active you click on a saved Tower/Spotter marker on the map. You can save a Tower/Spotter camera location at any location in the world.
  11. Working just fine. Good to have the missing Flyby camera in MSFS 2024. Checking out AI aircraft traffic is no very easy both from the map and the new TrafficBoard.
  12. Just found this Spotty26 Youtube video showing the new Auto-View Takeoffs feature using the Trafficboard. https://youtu.be/WCeB1Ccquw8
  13. The sound issue is a bug in MSFS when using the new camera system. It has been reported to ASOBO which has logged it as a bug according to a message in the SDK dev forum.
  14. In my opinion, ChasePlane is an excellent camera tool if you're willing to replace the default MSFS camera system and create custom camera configurations for each aircraft you fly. Spotty26 takes a different approach by building on the default MSFS camera system rather than replacing it. It offers greater flexibility through map-based camera placement, allowing you to create and save camera views anywhere in the world. These views can be used not only with your own aircraft but also with AI traffic, making it ideal for spotting, flybys, tower views, and general aircraft observation.
  15. This is an issue related to the airplane's implementation of LOD. Nothing that Spotty26 can fix I believe.
  16. This issue is fixed in Spotty v1.4.0 coming out sooon.
  17. I am now beta testing the latest Spotty26 v1.4 update. It has improved and even more easy camera handling. It is really as easy as it gets.
  18. Spotty26 needs to be in focus for keyboard shortcuts to be available. Windows 10/11 only allows keyboard clciks to be "seen" by the app in focus. An XBOX controller is therefore my choice to make camera changes.
  19. AI traffic is all the same now, it is just that the FSLTL injector get real traffic FlightRadar24 data via Navigraph.
