I'm ultra thankful for your project as I sorely miss the Flyby and Tower views of old and I agree it's a must-have for 2024 flyers. I would only caution against getting overly complicated as we already have that in ChasePlane. I actually own ChasePlane but after using it in 2020 decided it is overkill for my needs as I'm ultra content w/ the default camera system save its lack of a good Flyby routine. I really like the variety of passes you configured using the Flyby routine. I guess 'Tower' view really is a case of 'locating' the individual tower you're at, versus Spotty26 knowing where it needs to be to do a tower view?

At the moment, Tower View in Spotty26 is user-positioned. Spotty26 does not currently know the real-world location of airport control towers, so you choose the camera location yourself by simply clicking on the map.

In reality, the feature is better described as a Tower / Spotter View rather than a strict control tower view. It allows you to position the camera anywhere around the airport—at the control tower, near a runway threshold, on a spotting hill, alongside a taxiway, or at any other location that provides a great view of aircraft operations.

Both Tower / Spotter View and World View camera positions can be saved and later recalled instantly with a single click on their map marker. This makes it easy to build your own collection of favorite viewing locations at airports around the world.

One of the most exciting uses of this feature is during your own flights. For example, while on final approach, you can press a keyboard shortcut or joystick button and instantly switch to a flyby camera located at your saved Tower / Spotter position, allowing you to watch your aircraft approaching from the selected viewpoint. This capability is made possible by the new camera features introduced in MSFS and adds an entirely new dimension to flight simulation.

The result is far greater flexibility than a traditional tower view. Rather than being restricted to the airport's actual control tower location, you are free to create and save your own preferred viewing positions anywhere around the airport

That sounds fabulous thanks! I will give it a go shortly, at EGLL ;o) Is there a hotkey to turn CAM off and on per chance?
