Is rudder control really correct in MSFS2024
Exactly what I did also EDIT I found out that here is now two versions so I loaded the new GPS version. Still my original problem remains. TM Hotas assigned prop lever also set the equal amount of throttle. And a lever on the CH Throttle quadrant also controls the prop although not being assigned to prop control

Is rudder control really correct in MSFS2024
I also tried the P51 in MSFS2024 and my settings does not make sense for it. When I move the propeller assigned lever (TM Hotas Warthog) the throttle also move. One lever on my CH throttle quadrant also controls the propeller. But that axis is not assigned to anything according to search by input

Is rudder control really correct in MSFS2024
I have now tested with some planes with zero crosswind. It seem payware single prop planes at least get the left turning tendency direction correct (JF Piper PA28 Anthony AN-2 Sting ) the default C172 went almost straight with a very small left tendency. So it seem crosswing first played a role Question is how much right rudder should we need to apply in order to get it realistic ? In X Plane very much is needed almost full rudder input.

Is rudder control really correct in MSFS2024
I have discovered that on takeoff with C172 the plane tends to turn slightly to the right so I need to apply slight left rudder. In other sims like X Plane it is the opposite. C172 plane turns to the left and I need a significant amount of right rudder to stay on the centerline. Same thing in P3D with A2A Cherokee. I think the latter is the correct and realistic behaviour right ?

VR 2026 Where are we and what do you recommend?
jfri replied to Hamish100's topic in Virtual Reality (VR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)Actually they still do. I found this https://pimax.com/products/pimax-crystal-light-free-honsvr-prescription-lenses-bundle?_pos=1&_psq=prescription&_ss=e&_v=1.0

jfri replied to Hamish100's topic in Virtual Reality (VR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)From what I could see Pimax don't sell lenses for Crystal Light

VR 2026 Where are we and what do you recommend?
jfri replied to Hamish100's topic in Virtual Reality (VR) for Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)I am also looking for a new headset since my HP Reverb G2 has failed. I have had very long sessions with AI about the best choice and also watched many reviews and comparisons. Now it seem best to wait for Steam Frame. I was close to order a Crystal Light since it seem clearly best with regard to display. But I found out that I would need prescription lenses which is complcated and must be purchased from external dealers. Also the aspheric lens is more sensitive to variations than pancake lenses. From what I can see Dream Air is far more expensive than Crystal Light

Question for those who have purchased a Pimax Crystal Light
Yes no doubt Grok AI can be wrong. First I pointed out that it make no sense that the risk should be higher for a replacement unit. Then I wrote that I found its risk estimate unlikely high. Then first it admitted that my first point was correct. Then it changed its risk estimate to 10-20% but repeat that Google AI numbers 5-8 % is too low

Question for those who have purchased a Pimax Crystal Light
It's actually Grok AI that raised the concerns. It claims that there is a 15-30% risk of getting a unit with noticable problem and then 25-45% for the replacement unit to be flawed. The question is should I be concerned ? Another problem is that the alternative headsets (Quest 3 and Steam Frame) also concerns me in some ways

Question for those who have purchased a Pimax Crystal Light
From what I understand it those glas linses are more sensitive to variations that can introduce errors. So it is unavoidable to get a higher risk for misadjustment of the lenses or minor variation in their form. But I do think the higher estimates are clearly exagerated. Still even 5% feels unconfortable for me. In addition to the risk of getting a flawed headset there is also the aspect of the headset being more fragile because of the heavy glas linses. For example once my HP Reverb G2 fell to the floor but still worked. With a PCL I suspect this would be more serious.

Question for those who have purchased a Pimax Crystal Light
I have learnt that there are som quality issue with this headset which is due to the glas lenses being difficult to get exactly right. So you might ask how big is the risk to get a headset with minor flaws like dead pixels or distorsion in the display ? Google AI estimate that risk to be about 5-8 % and Grok AI says it is more like 15-35 % and that Google AI is wrong It is reasoned that customer with minor flaws do not clain warranty because of the trouble So my question for Crystal Light customer is. Did you get a headset with minor flaws such as slight distorsion in the display or faulty pixels ?

Is Pimax Crystal Light a good idea to get for me ?
I think in your case it is because of your CPU. It is listed as minimum requirement which usually is not good. The GPU is listed as best experience. Pimax told me that my CPU is recommended.

Should I trust Chat GPT regarding this about Quest 3
It seem I get contradictory statements here. Many has said Quest 3 is far better then Reverb G2. Reasons mentioned are better lenses edge to edge clarity
-
Should I trust Chat GPT regarding this about Quest 3
Do you mean PCL out of the box or with extra headstrap ?
-
Should I trust Chat GPT regarding this about Quest 3
So no big difference in comfort between Reverb G2 and Quest 3 even with additional headstrap ?

Had a scare with my Reverb G2
Exactly which cable is this ?

Best comfort assesories for Crystal Light and Quest 3
It is clear that extra products are needed for these headsets. To find out which are best to select I have tried Chat GPT and given up there. It recommends a product as best and then changes it to don't buy it. When I ask for Crystal Light products it gives links to Quest 3 and keep repeating this mistake. So which comfort improving products could be considered as mandatory ? And which one are best to buy ? After selecting this how would Crystal Light compare to Quest 3 regarding comfort ?

Asking CoPilot for the best Colour Settings in VR
I must say that I find it hard to see any difference between the two pictures

Should I trust Chat GPT regarding this about Quest 3
Would you say that there is a significant difference (you will notice it immidiately) in sound quality between the inbuilt speakers of Reverb and Quest ? Can anyone tell about the difference in sound quality between Reverb and PCL ?
-
Should I trust Chat GPT regarding this about Quest 3
Do you mean the sound in the Reverb is better than the sound in the Quest ? I also use VoiceAttack. Is it not tricky/uncomfortable to have both a headset and the Quest with its extra headstrap on the head ?
