Flying the Fenix over Japan this morning, in 2020, with Rex Atmos, looks fantastic. 😁

SmartPhones are next....😉- Fenix EFB - No METAR Data Available
There are no alternatives. Everything else is a major step backwards.- Fenix EFB - No METAR Data Available
I use the Aivlasoft EFB with Active Sky weather, which works perfectly.- Results don't lie - I stink at landing the A319 - help!
- Fenix EFB - No METAR Data Available
Can't think of anything that could take it's place.- Fenix EFB - No METAR Data Available
Unfortunately, there is no EFB that I know of that does easily anywhere near what Aivlasoft does.- Fenix EFB - No METAR Data Available
My Aivlasoft EFB uses Active sky weather, will that not work anymore? I am flying with it now.- Controversial video? I'd like to think not.
Got my PPL in 1978 in South Florida. Wet brand new C 152, $19 and hour, instructor $9 and hour. Rented a C 172 on lease back owned by a Dentist, with about 1,000 hours on the hobbs, for $36 an hour wet.. Those were the days. 😉- BeyondATC at it's best....
A few days ago, BATC changed the sound of the default voices as well as the speed of the speech. They sound great, and realistic. I am on the experimental release and radio degradation on, which may make a difference.- Blacksquare Dukes update 1.2 (incl MSFS2024)

The headphone simulation on the Turbine, users have been waiting for, for a long time...😉- Controversial video? I'd like to think not.
I flew the c172 yesterday and my initial impression remains exactly the same. I have hundreds of hours flying real life in a C172, to think otherwise.- Controversial video? I'd like to think not.
Well I downloaded the XP demo today and spent a couple of hours setting it up and flying the C 172SP around. A great deal to learn, I can see already.- BeyondATC at it's best....
There is also a thread on this forum , topic FSHUD, why don't you post there instead of the BATC discussion?- Controversial video? I'd like to think not.
Where is a link to that, I couldn't find it?- MSFS Tail-dragger Ground Control
Tail dragger without rudder pedals, instant crash.- Controversial video? I'd like to think not.
The reason I watched this comparison video, is that I have toyed with the idea of moving to X Plane, especially since I have heard about the recent beta updates. I noticed in the recent survey on this forum that many users are using Map Enhancement Mod along with X world, both of which are supposed to be free add ons, to upgrade the scenery. My feeling, is if something is free, and easy to install in a sim, then it would be fair to compare that to another sim, as long as either sim doesn't require any costly or complicated add ons. Any one have any opinions on this?- Controversial video? I'd like to think not.
I made the mistake of posting this video on another forum, because I thought it was interesting and informative and a great deal of work went into making it. A few people on that forum immediately started having a tantrum, requesting that the thread be locked, and the moderators went along with that. Sad, that people can't act like adults. Anyway, I think the comparisons were pretty good between the two sims, and I have to admit that X plane does have some really good qualities.- MSFS compared to X Plane
Interesting video. He did a great deal of work making this.- BeyondATC at it's best....
I also think the FS HUD voices are not good, and so does the developer apparently, because he is working on that issue for V3. - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Takes Flight on PlayStation
