the Tristar looks great

Oh man I'm going to be all over that Tristar, built natively for 2024 from the ground up too.

Moving on with today's main topic, iniBuilds proud to announce the legendary iniBuilds TriStar Airliner for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Developed from the ground up exclusively for the new platform - supported by extensive real-aircraft access and reference sessions - this recreation fully leverages MSFS2024’s latest physics, environmental modelling, and advanced systems framework. Our goal is to deliver the most authentic and immersive TriStar, or ‘El-Ten-Eleven’, experience ever brought to home simulation. Our main variant will be based off of the L1011-500 variant. 
 

Product Highlights

Given the numerous variants, configurations and options that were available for this aircraft, let’s start with covering some of the key system features of the product. 

• Detailed systems simulation covering electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental logic
• A fully featured AFCS and CAT IIIB autoland system
• Accurate flight dynamics driven by MSFS 2024 aerodynamics and real-world performance manual data
• High-fidelity exterior and interior modelling including cockpit, cabin, and full S-duct tail engine geometry
• Fully modelled triple Litton INS system with era-accurate navigation workflows as well as easy import options and Simbrief integration
• A faithful reproduction of the Performance Management System (PMS) integrated directly with the AFCS and INS
• Period authentic EFB – the iniBuilds Paper Flight Bag 
• Flight Engineers panel with manual and automatic modes
• Multiple navigation layouts to suit every style of flying:
  – Classic analogue radio-navigation
  – Authentic triple-INS long-range setup
  – INS combined with PMS for full TriStar automation
  – Modern GNS 530 upgrade option

The TriStar sure has charisma. Although the number of frames was very limited, the carriers that used them and the routes it was used on would very much fit my type of flying. Looking forward to it.

Free VIP variant of the A340 in January. I'll probably never fly it, but that's pretty cool for those who do those sort of flights.

The VIP interior appears to be based off HZ-SKY

Microsoft has to ask them to do updates.

And there were updates to the A330s in SU4.

That's up to Microsoft. 

 

I wish some of the quality of life improvements that came with the A340 would get moved over to the A330 as well.

Not directly an ini project, they're just supporting it and publishing it.

They leave it to Synaptic to provide updates.

Any chance they will do the other variants of the L-1011?

I think it would be fairly easy.  The 500 is shorter then the others.  Everything else is pretty similar with internal and engine options.  The 250 has the Frisbee fairing of the 500.  Maybe a few others got the upgrade eventually.

I would love to fly an ATA L-1011-50 from the west coast to Hawaii.

This Tristar Projekt could be a bomer.

Great they doeing this AC, the pictures look very promising.
