  1. You are at the core of the bubble that is AI. It's all about stocks and what it is really good for is using up insane amounts of energy resources. I really have to wonder what its inventors were thinking, if they were thinking at all. We are sitting in the midst of a man made environmental catastrophe and the goal is to reduce our carbon footprint and reduce anything that uses up more energy and they come up with a technology that increases exactly that consumption exponentially? How stupid are these people?
  2. You did not miss anything with Navigraph, you missed something with MS2024. LIDO charts are the default chart option in the sim. Some Aircraft give you the option to display them in their EFB's.
  3. Too bad that the likelyhood of it telling you lies ist high. I gave it a task a while ago to find some stuff out in a field where I actually already knew the answers. And it took me half an hour of correcting it over and over again until it finally stopped making stuff up.
  4. The irony is not lost on me that the thumbnails of the videos that try to convince you of the usefulness of an AI tool are also created with AI.
  5. Those are very clearly trees and not rocks.
  6. It's also because it litterally makes people stop using their brains and go into energy saving mode. Instead of learning stuff themselves by study and trial and error, people now just let AI do the work for them. No one ever learned to write a poem or play an instrument by letting a computer do it for them. And anyone who thinks it will do more good than harm are kidding themselves.
  7. Billions of flies can't be wrong: Eat more excrement!
  8. @kerosene31 I'd give you three likes if I could. You are 100% correct in your assessment.
  9. I didn't follow previous arguments he was in, but I figured as much after the 3rd post.
  10. What's there to be impressed about? That's totally normal. Star Citizen has been Early Access for over a decade now. ;)
  11. I call fake advertizing. I tested SI for 2 Months last Summer and I was not impressed at all. Everything to do with the core of ATC it does way worse than BATC.
  12. You very much notice it when you do moutain flying at 2000ft AGL. If you want far away mountains to remain realistic silhouetes you have to set TLOD to at least 500. When I go on virtual hikes with FSExplore I set the minimum TLOD in AutoFPS to 600.
  13. One is preinstalled the rest you have to download through the manager. I haven't counted them, could be 3 Dozen.
  14. There is little point in that. Their contract with Meteoblue limits what they can make accessable.
  15. What do you need to search it for? You can go directly to it in the IFly Manager by using the "Manage Product" button and then clicking on "Data Folder"
  16. It tells me that the FAA is behind the times, as usual. ;)
  17. A third? I bought it 4 times. The 3rd Time however I could use the credit I had from the 2nd time. ;)
  18. By pressing the mapped button twice. You map the red button on the side stick. That is the autopilot disconnect button.
  19. With all his rambling he has one point: They started to sell the IFLY for MS2024 a year ago and called it experimental back then, because it is basically still just a compatibility patch. While it performs great it still begs the question why they haven't shifted their focus away from MS2020 for months now. They work awfully slow.
  20. And this thread. Everything there is to say about the matter has already been said.
  21. There is a tab for all your installed packages in the AIG Manager. There you can deinstall them again.
