This morning there was a new update for Sim App Pro v2. After it was installed suddenly the app does not recognize my MCDU any longer. I had to switch over to a Mobiflight profile to use it. Anyone else having the same problem with version 0.1.13 of Sim App Pro v2 ?

Yes. And at this point premium doesn't make much sense any longer. Local uses the exact same voices at a slightly, but hardly noticieable degredation in quality.

It was fixed with SU5 and then re-introduced with SU6.

Oof. Considering that the Hawker comes with a fully modeled failure simulation and you could actually end up in single engine operations, this is not acceptable.

You can do that in real life as well. No one is going to yell at you when you supplement a visual approach with the ILS indications to fly a nice a stable approach.

While we are spitballing ideas, this could also be made reflective of real world maintenance habits of carriers. Low Cost carriers will definately take less good care of their fleet than premium ones. A 29 year old Airbus flying for Lufthansa will be in way better shape than the same aircraft flying for Aeroflot at this age. (for obvious reasons)

In the Settings of the Techlog app you can change the text size. Or you can run it externally in a browser or a tablet.

The sim EFB is the EFB that comes with the default sim. Where all the Apps are in. Where default flightplanner is in. Where you refuel and load default aircraft, find default checklist etc. And that is where this app is installed into.

No. It's a 3rd Party freeware add on.

None. It works in the background and is accessed via the Sim's EFB (not the Fenix EFB). It has a few quirks at the moment, like it reacting to icing way too strongly, but the developer is actively working on them. He also plans to bring this to the PMDG fleet next and will look which other add ons can support this. You can fix in real time or instant. If you are doing real time the app remembers when you started the work and left the aircraft, and when you come to it after the time to fix it has passed in the real world the item will be fixed. You can set it to any aircraft age you like. I looked up the age of the aircraft I have liveries for and set it to the real age. Granted especially the Cabin stage is probably worse than in real life when you set it to 16 years, because prime carriers maintain their cabins usually better than low cost carriers. Maybe this will be reflected in the future as well.

Why would you even consider using it? You are more than set in terms of VRAM. What you lack is a hefty CPU. So what you are looking for is the performance mode, to unload parts of the aircraft not needed to be rendered by the CPU. Not reducing the texture quality to reduce load on the GPU.

This somehow reminds me of the scene in Star Wars Episode I where Jar Jar Binks gets accidently zapped in the face and suffers from a paralized tongue and can't speak properly.

There is only overlap if you don't have your secondary frequency tuned to the guard frequency and are listening in to an active frequency.
