Thursday at 01:58 PM3 days While we more or less patiently wait for FenixSimulations to deliver the NEO variations to us, some kind and ingenious soul gave us a new toy for ther Airbus fleet. The Techlog. From the description: Fenix TechLog adds persistent aircraft state, maintenance logs, and detailed part wear tracking to the Fenix A319, A320, and A321 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It simulates ongoing part degradation, realistic in-flight and ground failures, and interactive MEL procedures that carry over across sessions. The add-on records every flight, cabin item wear, and key maintenance actions, allowing management of repairs or part replacements. Data is managed locally, integrates with the in-sim EFB tablet, and requires no changes to Fenix or simulator files. So at this point FSLABS has no advantage over the Fenix any longer.Flightsim.toFenix TechLog - MSFS Add-on - Flightsim.to✓ For Microsoft Flight Simulator: Fenix TechLog adds persistent aircraft state, maintenance logs, and detailed part wear tracking to the Fenix A319, A320, and A321 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Friday at 09:29 AM3 days It looks very interesting. Can someone who has tried it give us their feedback? Any impact on performance? As far as I can tell, it has no impact on performance whatsoever. It really makes the aircraft feel much more alive.
Friday at 01:04 PM2 days Author 3 hours ago, luis70 said:Any impact on performance?None. It works in the background and is accessed via the Sim's EFB (not the Fenix EFB).It has a few quirks at the moment, like it reacting to icing way too strongly, but the developer is actively working on them.He also plans to bring this to the PMDG fleet next and will look which other add ons can support this. You can fix in real time or instant. If you are doing real time the app remembers when you started the work and left the aircraft, and when you come to it after the time to fix it has passed in the real world the item will be fixed. You can set it to any aircraft age you like. I looked up the age of the aircraft I have liveries for and set it to the real age.Granted especially the Cabin stage is probably worse than in real life when you set it to 16 years, because prime carriers maintain their cabins usually better than low cost carriers.Maybe this will be reflected in the future as well. Friday at 04:52 PM2 days This is one of the reasons I love the flight sim community. People working tirelessly to create something this in-depth and beneficial and completely for free. Does anyone know if this dev has a donations page?

The issue i am having is that I have the app installed but I can't find anything related to settings for the tech log. I have been asking copilot but the answers I am getting aren't that consistent. Apparently i have the "Fenix Installer" and not the "Fenix Launcher" and that is why I am not able to get into the tech log menu? Having said that, I have no idea where do get the "launcher" because when I log into the Fenix site, in the dashboard the only download I see is the installer. I must be doing something wrong.... Having said that my Fenix for the last few years has been flying well so it can't be a huge issue. Any thoughts?
