  1. I have never had any issues with GSX (installation-wise). For example, I recently installed MSFS24 and was wondering how it would play with my MSFS20 installation including shared programmes (such as GSX). It was a breeze. I launched the GSX installer and selected MSFS24 from the little drop-down menu on the left. The app did its thing. No hassle, no confusion and is now happily co-existing with both sims.
  2. Interesting. I didn't use the Map Enhancement app either and my issue popped up. Should try enabling it again and see. Cheers, mate!
  3. Is anyone else in this part of the world having issues with the online data? I have checked Ookla, reset the router but MS keeps dropping me offline and not loading scenery data relegating me to the bland out-of-the-box imagery. Appreciate any feedback.
  4. A question for Anil: Will you be collaborating with FlightRadar24?
  5. Thanks, Chris. I've been at this game for a while and my memory hasn't gone to the dogs completely (it does misfire on occasion). However, once again I'm left wondering what happens when MSFS2028 is released. Will that be yet another backwards-incompatible sim? Ours isn't a low cost hobby especially factoring in the inevitable hardware expenses. Just the musings of one of the older members of this community. (Come to think of it, I might not be planetside when '28 rolls around!)
  6. Thought as much. Funny how 2020 has been dropped like a hot potato, unlike the longevity we experienced with FSX and P3D. Oh well.
  7. Wondering whether the ini initiative will include MSFS2020 or will it only be for '24.
  8. From the announcement page: "Through the new integration, Navigraph Unlimited subscribers can now connect FSLTL directly to official Flightradar24 traffic data for real-world traffic injection in MSFS."
  9. 👏👏👏 From the cold shower of FSLTL almost shutting down to its rebirth. Great news.
  10. Stating the obvious here but... Are you selecting the correct control profiles in the sim? Did you remember to re-calibrate the throttle (if needed) in the Fenix MCDU? I tried it on my machine and it's all working well. SimAppPro v.1.16.97
  11. Did this, by any chance, start after installing the latest FSHUD version (FSUD Traffic)?
  12. No issues here. The new look is the logical evolution making it look more 'modern'.
  13. I definitely need to do more testing. This was my very first flight with the new feature. I did not notice any measurable difference in performance (this also depends heavily on the amount of traffic you opt to inject but also on the complexity of the scenery and add-on aircraft you use). I did not see any long frames or stutters on approach or taxiing around. I did notice the sound (comms) from the ATC and the AI injected traffic cut out and come back after about 1 second. It didn't miss any words as such just a verbal "stutter" every now and again. That may be something I need to tune (prioritize?) on my computer. To be honest I wasn't really looking at fluidity of the AI traffic but from what I can recall it seemed fine. One thing I did notice was an aircraft turning on a dime after its push was completed. Danthepilot's post is interesting as he's had more time with the programme and has pointed out some shortcomings but I'd be amazed if a newly introduced feature got everything right out of the gate. If you already use FSHUD it's a no-brainer to download and use the Traffic app for a week and then decide if you want to pay the subscription fee or not. US$2.99 (or AU$4.08 for me) seems like a reasonable amount that would also go towards helping the devs improve the offering. On the other hand, if you're not really bothered about "real time" traffic, plain vanilla FSHUD is fine. An interesting feature is the option one gets for having the app inject Zulu time traffic or sim time traffic.
  14. Test flight: EGLL - EIDW. Aer Lingus A320. At Heathrow it looked like the injector placed the correct liveries at their proper locations. Traffic settings: 20 active, 50 parked. Instructions were flying back and forth and traffic was moving around in sync. Currently en route. Lots of chatter, correct callsigns. So far it seems to be working just fine. **On approach to Dublin callsigns included more and more Shamrocks and Ryanair. A wind change necessitated a change of runway which was initiated and handled by FSHUD. At the airport itself traffic looked as it should with a plethora of Aer Lingus airplanes and other traffic including a number of US aircraft. I used AIG as the model provider. First impressions? Very good indeed.
  15. I believe Aerosoft also has a pushback utility. Both freeware and payware versions. Check out the freeware before you blow cash on anything else. It may suit you fine.
  16. Regarding profiles, yes, that holds true for larger aircraft and airports. In Tony's case he can easily use the custom pushback mode built into GSX and edit it from the map.

Steve does a great job in this upload.
  18. A suggestion. The header should be permanently visible and not scroll out of sight. By header I mean the top of the page menus (HTML-illiterate here).
  19. As one of the senior (age-wise) members...I'm totally confused by it.
  20. It's Windows. It's Microsoft.
  21. As long as it's better optimised than their other efforts.
  22. Have a look at this YT vid. It may help:
  23. Noticed this as well. Sometimes there is a delay for certain actions to happen (possibly an attempt at recreating RL?) where nothing happens in an instant but there are times that an action has to be requested more than once. Best to post these issues in their forum as Umberto is actively involved.
  24. One is a NEO (FBW) the other is a CEO (Fenix). If it's just the Airbus experience you want then, yes, the Fenix will do the job nicely. If it's a NEO you are after the only game currently in town is the FSLabs A21N. However it's only available as an A321. I can't say I've had a poor experience with the FBW A20N but hen again I'm on MSFS2020. The FBW A380 is a different kettle of fish entirely as it (even the 4K version) absolutely hammers my computer.
