  1. Well, I've done only one flight with it but that was very positive. I'm also using TAA. As I understand it, it replaces the default frame generation (among other things I don't quite understand so far), which has problems with performance getting worse over the course of the flight. The only negative thing is, you have to set up an account for download, but it's free.
  2. There must be a way to keep this and provide more cloude types (depicted in a convincing way) at the same time. Close to METAR weather is obviously still very important. I certainly wouldn't want to see it sacrificed again.
  3. Yeah, that's totally unnecessary. On the positive side, I finished a medium haul flight with the Fenix A320 at Aerosoft EDDF and performance was really good after landing. I will definitely keep this mod and fly to other demanding hubs to confirm.
  4. Sorry gents, it's not totally clear to me if it's doing its thing when I use TAA as anti-aliasing setting. I always come back to this because it still provides much better visual quality for me. I have frame generation set to NVIDIA DLSS with multiplier 2x. I have a 4070 with 12GB. The last flights I did that ended at heavy hubs (ini EGLL and KDFW) had really bad stuttering performance and I thought to myself this is something new. Starting a flight from these hubs is totally fine performance wise. So maybe I suffer from the described problem...
  5. Competition is always good for the consumers. I like what I see.
  6. FMC Update: Leg Type Handling Improvements Update: RTE 2 Fixes from 737 implementation lessons learned Fix: CON/CLB Does Not Cancel Derate Fix: Numerous Waypoint Up/Down-selection Issues Fix: Prevent Selecting Failures for Items Not Installed Fix: Procedure Turn Handling Fix: TO to CON/CLB Throttle Transition Accelerated Some potentially nice fixes there. I wonder if the LNAV / turning behavior has improved? One of my main long term complaints with all PMDG aircraft.
  7. I clearly overestimated the range of some of the Tristar's variants. My bad.
  8. I would have thought ALL of the routes you named were possible without a fuel stop in a Tristar?
  9. Sounds really cool! How is performance? EDDS being only mid sized should help here. I guess I will buy that one at one point.
  10. I'm not one of those commenting on fselite, but you really don't need a microscope to identify the modeling inaccuracies. This IMHO doesn't fit the 'next level' proclamation that was being made. Pointing this out is absolutely justified and may lead to improvements before it's too late, hopefully. I remain sceptical. This all screams inibuils in my ears.
  11. There is also the possibility (with third party software like FSUIPC, Spad or AAO) to bind a button or key to a Fenix LVar. I don't have the name of the LVar at hand, but could look for it. I have a hardware tiller with a button for that use case and it works good. Again showing the depth of the Fenix.
  12. Absolutely, there are not many add-ons that have received such amount of substantial updates as GSX, all with one purchase. I like GSX very much. Thanks Umberto for your continued support!
  13. Exactly my thoughts. Also Marketplace release... I'm very sceptical. None the less, I hope they can pull it off and surprise me in a positive way.
  14. It works exactly as it should. As already stated by @MrRoper, you can bind it to a hardware button using spad, AAO or FSUIPC (which is what I use).
  15. I'm disappointed by the fact that you have full nose wheel authority with the rudder pedals, although I have a tiller hardware for that. This is not real behavior and it turns me off. The steering on the runway at takeoff and landing is not optimal. I know this isn't a problem to most people, but it is for me. I like it visually. The flight deck atmosphere is very nice, external model too. Let's see how it matures.
  16. The chart says *expect to cross at*. This kind of info is not coded in the database. You can find that often in the US.
  17. I wanted to write the same. It's all about the weather for me now.
  18. It's one of the main reasons I use Chaseplane. It does a decent job in this regard. EZDOK had much more setting options and I liked the results even more, but we don't have that choice anymore.
  19. This is also the case without Chaseplane, isn't it? My guess is, the add-on developer can define where the character in walk around mode spawns. Fenix chose that position. But it's just a guess.
  20. Guys, I can't find the info. Unfortunately their forums are locked for non customers. Can the EFB show the sim's default LIDO charts instead of Navigraph? Another one. I have dedicated tiller hardware. Can I use that in a realistic way with the MD80? Thanks
