Hi all - I am just after a bit of advice regarding nose wheel steering in MSFS 2020 with the PMDG 737. I have recently converted over from P3D V5. I am finding it very difficult to make right turns with the tiller. I have it mapped to my Thrustmaster Airbus Side Stick on the twist axis. I am using the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke for elevator and aileron control and Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals for Rudder and Brakes. I’ve read online that Nose Wheel steering in MSFS isn’t the best. Does anyone have any further info? I’m not sure where to look. I also tested in the iniBuilds A310 and that is the same as the PMDG 737 with regards to ground steering. However, the Fenix A320 works really well. (No yoke connected for the Fenix). Many Thanks, Jonathan.

Hello all. I have been using a joystick with twisting function for my FSX. I just got my rudder pedal and trying to separate the tiller and rudder. So far I have managed to use the tiller by the joystick twisting without affecting the rudder but when I use the rudder pedal, the tiller turns and steer the aircraft on the ground. So is there a way to assign rudder pedal to rudder function only? I'm testing on PMDG 777 but I think the same will be for your 737 and MD11? (Yes, I have searched google for couple hours) Hoang Le.

Apparently there still is no fix for the PMDG 777 Nose Wheel steering and GSX Push Back Tug fighting each other? Getting a little tired of the rudder pedals and tiller violently moving about in the cockpit. Please tell me there is a fix without some ridiculous work around.

To bring more realism in my homecockpit, I want to build a tiller myself.Up to now I steered the NGX with my rudder pedals while taxiing.I want to buy a cheap USB steering wheel and use its axis as tiller axis for my plane.I tried to assign the tiller axis, but I have not found the axis in my FSX menu or the FSUIPC menu (registered version).Have you an idea where I can assign this axis ? Regards David

Idk if there are people here who have some knowledge/experience with making their own controllers or hardware, so if you do please help me out a bit if you can. For the past year I've been designing a steering tiller based on the Boeing 777's steering tiller and all I need now is a controller board with a USB port(preferable USB A or USB C) for reading a single axis input from left to right. As of now I wanna using a part of an old racing wheel that I salvaged until I figured out the dimensions for the final build of the housing(see spoiler below). All I need now is a controller board that can fit this header(again, see spoiler below below). A friend of mine said something about an arduino-esque board with an atmega chip, iirc an atmega32u4 chip specifically. But I would like some recommendations on which brands would be decent for long term use and maximum compatibility with the current flightsims (xplane, p3d, msfs). And preferably a board that has a small enough form factor. The latter point is, bc if I do need to put it away, it won't take up a whole cabinet. So if anyone has some recommendations, please let me know.

Hi to all, I'd like to assign steering tiller to my Logitech G13 minijoystick. The problem is that this minijoy is not so precise like a normal joystick and I'm trying to fine tuming it via FSUIPC, but I'm not quite expert. I want to assign X axis to steering tiller and Y axis to brakes (L and R) on my G13. The problem is that this minijoystick tends to override my FLY5 axes, so I have to correct with my rudder (when I release tiller with G13), and if I brakes with G13 (Y axis) it works fine, smooth brakes, but then brakes are always applied, even i increase throttle. Does anyone have some tips on how to fine tuning with FSUIPC to solve this issue or any suggestion to manage tiller and brakes? I also own another old joystick, a MS sidewinder 2, maybe could help? Thanks to all in advace

Hello, I notice that when I use the tiller (assign separate from rudder in FSUIPC, with PMDG 737 and 777),the anticipation turbulence effect doesn't work, it only work if I use the rudder to turn the airplane on the ground. Is there a way to make the anticipation effect works with tiller only? Or will it be an option in the next update? Thank you. Hoang Le
